Finally they are officially a couple. But it was sad to read about the break up with Josh and Keisha. I feel really sorry for them, though I want Katie and Justin together.

I really feel sorry for both, Justin and Katie, but more for Justin, because of Keisha's decision to take away the children from him. :( I can understand her decision though. I would react the same way if my husband would cheat on me. But it's devastating for the children.

It was so sweet to read how much they love each other no matter what. Loved the reaction from Ellen and James. But I can also understand the reactions of the other cast members. It's really an awkward situation. :rolleyes: Especially because both are married.

Chapter 1; (She’s back)

Smiling, Katherine pushed the door to the building open. She smiled to the door man, who greeted her with a smile.
“Heigl! Back from France, I see.” She laughed softly, nodding.
“Yeah. Time to do some work here.” She exchanged a few more words with him before she walked up to the dressing room. “Katie!” She smiled, walking over to Ellen and Sandra, who were standing by one of the big closets. They exchanged hugs and laughs.
“How was France?” Ellen asked excitedly.
“Oh it was amazing. Im ready to get back to work though.”
“She came back!” She laughed as Chyler entered the room, clearly coming directly from the set. “Aww, you won’t get rid of me that easily.”

Katie was sitting at make up, letting the stylists make her skin look pale and sick. Even though she couldn’t say it was fun to see her character sick, she really liked the storyline.
“There she is.” She grinned, turning in her chair as Justin walked up to her. He had shaved while she was away, and she couldn’t deny that he looked nice.
“Hi.” She said softly, wrapping her arm around his neck as he leaned and gave her a hug. She had missed him while she was away, but she guessed that them, doing most of their scenes together, had brought them closer over the work on the 5th season. She had always loved working with him. He just seemed to bring different sides out of her, and she was a better actress for it.
“How was France?” He asked, pulling back.
“It was amazing. Glad to be back though.” She got a nod from the stylists, and rose from the chair, walking with Justin. “What did I miss?”
Justin chuckled. “Not much, TR was having major problems to do a scene yesterday, was kinda funny.” He opened a door, holding it open for her. She smiled warmly, stepping through. They started walking again, and she took a real look at him for the first time. He looked tried. No, not just tired, he looked sad.
“Are you okay?” She asked gently. Justin quickly smiled, looking up at her. “Yeah, sure, why wouldn’t I be?” Katie raised her eyebrows, and Justin sighed a little, shaking his head. “It’s just…” He swallowed, shrugging sadly. “Me and Keisha are going through something right now. Nothing big. It just makes things a little weird at home.”
“Oh…” Katie felt her heart ache for him. When it came to Justin and his wife, family, she cared. To be honest, she cared about everything that had to do with Justin in general. They reached the front door that would lead them to the set, and she placed her hand on his arm, stilling his movements towards the door.
“You know you can talk to me, right? About anything.” He searched her eyes, before he smiled a little, placing his free hand over hers, squeezing gently.
“Good to have you back, K.”

“Marry me.” She blinked, looking up at him. “What?” He sat down on the edge of her bed, taking her hand into his. His other hand gently reached out to stroke her face. “Marry me.” He whispered again. She swallowed, looking away. “Alex, what are you doing?”
His hand cupped her cheek, making her look into his eyes again. “This is your wedding. You heard Mer. This wedding is your dream, not hers.” She was taken back be the serious look in his eyes. “Alex… You can’t…” Her eyes filled with tears. “Alex, no…”
“Why not?” He tenderly traced her jaw line, resting his forehead against hers. “I love you.”
“I know… But what if I…”
“Don’t say it.” His finger covered her lips. She looked up into his eyes. “Do you love me?” His voice cracked slightly. She felt the tears burn as she nodded.
“I do. I love you.” She whispered. He smiled a little, nuzzling his nose against hers. “Then that’s all that matters to me.” She let out a small sob as he kissed her cheek softly.
“Marry me, Iz…” He whispered in her ear. She closed her eyes, and felt the rightness. This was right. He was right. So as he gently nuzzled her nose again, she opened her eyes to look into his.
“Yes.” She whispered. He grinned and kissed her, and she cupped his face, kissing him back.

“And cut!”

Justin broke the kiss, smirking to her before he looked up at Shonda who had taken her time to watch the filming of this particular scene.
“Beautiful!” Katie sat straighter up on the bed, smiling as Shonda made her may to them, grinning excitingly. “Just what I had in mind. Really great emotions Katie. Glad to have you back on set. You’re done for the day. Don’t forget the party tonight.” She winked at them before she called for Betsy, hurrying away.

“You’re coming tonight?” Katie asked as they left the building. Justin smiled a little. “Shonda and her parties, huh… I’ll see. Maybe. I think I should… You know, make sure everything is okay with Keisha.”
She nodded. “Yeah, family comes first. I really hope you’ll get a chance to stop by though.” She stopped when she saw his still sad face expression, and gave him a comforting hug.
“It’s gonna be okay, okay? And if she, you know, I can always take her out and talk to her.” He wrapped his arms around her back, nodding. “Yeah, thank you.” She pulled back and smiled. “Stop saying that.” That brought a small grin on his face. “What?”
“You don’t have to thank me. You would do the same for me.”
She nudged him in the side. “I gotta go home.”
Justin walked her to her car, and opened the door for her. She slides into her car and he closed the door.
“See you tonight?” She asked, through the now open window.
“I’ll try.” They shared a smile before Katie backed her car, and then drove away. Justin watched the car disappear, and sighed, burying his hands in his pockets as he walked to his own car.

“We really have to go to this party crap?”
Katie sighed, putting on her earrings. “Josh, I told you about it before I went to France. I have to be there, especially now when I’ve been away. Besides, I promised TR.”
Josh fixed a little with his guitar before he put it down, sighing as he rose from the couch. “Come on babe…” She smiled as he pulled her closer and kissed her cheek. “I’ve missed you. Can’t we just hang here, alone?” He ran his hands down her back, but she laughed, backing away.
“I promised.” Josh sighed, shrugging. “I don’t have to go, do I?”
Katie frowned. “No, I guess if you really don’t want to…”
“Well, okay then, Im gonna call me buddies and say that we can play.” He kissed her and left the room, leaving her staring after him.
Her cell phone started to ring, and she picked it up. “Hi T.”

“Am I overreacting?” Katie asked as she linked her arm through TR’s on their walk to the bar where the party would be at.
He shrugged. “It wasn’t really fair of him. But you know, he goes to a lot of your things. Maybe he just needed a night off.”
Katie sighed and nodded. “You’re right. And at least I have you.” She smiled to him and he chuckled. “Yeah, and fifty other people.” He nodded towards the bar, and she laughed, smacking his arm as he led them towards it.

“Here’s for a great season!”
Shonda called, already affected by the alcohol. Katie laughed with the others, clinging her glass with Ellen and Patrick’s. She let her gaze wander around the bar. “You seen Justin yet?” She asked Ellen. She shrugged, shaking her head. “No.”
Katie soon found her self in a heated talk about France with one of the producers, and she took a few shoots with Chandra, before she went out to get some air. She picked the cigarette box up, taking one. She had tried to stop, but it wasn’t easy.
“Hey, weren’t we supposed to stop with that together?”
She blew out some smoke, smiling. “Sorry. But I can’t say I believe that you haven’t had one in the last month.”
Justin chuckled. “Fine, you got me.” Katie smiled, dropping the cigarette and stamped on it with her high heel, before she walked over to him. “So, did you solve everything with Keisha?”
A dark look came over his eyes. “No… No, we actually ended up making it worse.” He swallowed. “Can… Can we, I don’t know, take a walk or something?”
She nodded. “Okay.”

“It’s not just me, working.”
Justin said as they sat down on a bench in the park. Katie sat down next to him, and he looked at her.
“The kids take up a lot of time, and I guess we haven’t had a lot of time for us lately.” She nodded, understanding.
He sighed, looking sadly out at the dark night. “And she’s… She’s got this idea that I am not putting all the effort I could into our marriage. And… Maybe she’s right.”
Katie shook her head, placing her hand on his arm. “Jus…”
“I don’t look at her, K.” He looked up to meet her gaze. “I don’t look at her anymore. And that scares the crap out of me.” He buried his face in his hands.
“She’s my wife, and I should look at her. I should think she’s the most beautiful woman in the world. She gave me my kids. And I love my kids. I shouldn’t…”
“It’s okay…” She gently scooted closer on the bench, placing her hand on his shoulder.
“It’s okay to go through this in marriages sometimes. Im no better. Josh wouldn’t come to this party, and Im actually feeling hurt.”
Justin sighed, leaning back. “Great day for married people, huh?” Katie laughed softly.
He turned his head, watching her. “We’ll get through it.” He said, smiling a little.
She nodded, standing up.
“Now come on, I could really need a cup of coffee.”

Chapter 2; (Just a kiss?)

Early season 1 (Flashback)
Justin walked through the crowded room, looking around nervously. He looked for Ellen or maybe Shonda, the creator. Those two were pretty much the only people he knew. He had been really happy when they had called and told him that they wanted him to become a regular. He had done some scenes, but never imagined that they would want him in the show for real.
Suddenly his eyes fell on a blonde woman, who was talking and smiling to a shorter man. He was slightly taken back by her beauty. She looked away from the man she was talking to, and her eyes met his. It was just a coincident. But the way their eyes locked wasn’t.
Suddenly Justin cut a sight of a waiter being accidentally pushed by another man. That resulted in that the blonde got a pretty hard push, and fell. It all took a couple of seconds, and he found him self holding her in his arms. The woman caught her breath as he gently moved her back on her feet. The shorter man asked her if she was okay. “Yeah, Im fine.”
Her large dark brown eyes met his again. “Thank you.”
She smiled, and he felt a shiver go through him. “You sure you’re okay?” He asked, concerned. She laughed. “Yes, thanks to you.” He smiled, nodding. “Good.”
She smiled, reaching out her hand. “Im Katie.” He grinned, taking her hand. “Justin.”

“What’s this?”
Justin asked, frowning as he picked the information folder up. Keisha walked over to the sink. “Couple’s therapy.”
Justin groaned. “Keisha, come on. Don’t you think you’re over reacting? We don’t need some shrink telling us…”
“You know what? We do.” She snapped, starting with the children’s dishes from that morning. Justin putted the information down. He didn’t want to go public with this. Not just because of the fact that people would find out, but because he didn’t like the thought of his kids knowing they went to couple’s therapy. “How you even thought of the kids? What do you think they will think about us going to see a shrink?”
A plate smashed hardly to the counter. “Don’t tell me to think of the kids! Im doing this for the kids. Im trying to make this marriage work!” Justin rose from his chair and started to pace back and forth. “There are other ways to…”
“Justin, don’t pretend this is fixable by just us! We need to talk to someone. We need to say our piece. For them.” He didn’t say anything, just grabbed his jacket.
“I gotta go to work.” He muttered, leaving.

“How are you doing, man?”
Justin looked up, meeting Patrick’s friendly eyes. They stood in the line at the lunch. He sighed, reaching for a bottle of water. “Im fine. Just didn’t get any good sleep.”
He wasn’t someone who talked about his problems with his family public. Even to his friends. Well Katie was different. Different how, he didn’t know. She was just more than a friend. Well, at least more then the rest of the people he worked with.
Knowing she was shooting a scene with Ellen and Sandra right now, he fallowed Patrick, sitting done with him and Eric. Sara soon joined them, and Justin forgot about his marriage problems for an hour, joking around with his co workers.
It wasn’t until Sara started to ask him how Keisha and the kids were doing that he excused him self, saying he had to go through some lines.
He left the cafeteria, picking his cell phone up as it rang.
“Hi dad.” He couldn’t help smiling, hearing his oldest daughters voice. “Hey Bell. You okay?” Isabella groaned.
“Yes dad, Im fine. It doesn’t have to be a life and death call, you know.”
He chuckled. “Sorry. You out of school already?” He looked at his clock.
“Yeah, our teacher was sick. Well anyway, I just called to ask if you would be home for dinner. Me and May are gonna make it today!”
Justin looked up to see Katie leaving the set. He smiled as she saw him, and she smiled back. She was wearing a gorgeous wedding dress that looked perfect on her. It brought out her curves and made her dark eyes sparkle. She was, like always, breathtakingly beautiful.
“Dad?”
He was snapped back to reality by his daughter’s voice. “Oh yeah right. No, I think I’ll be stuck here for a while. We’re gonna shoot an important scene later.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Love you dad.”
“Love you too. Say hey to the others.” He flicked his phone closed, shaking his head. His kids weren’t that interested in his work. Eva was the only one who watched the show, and Keisha didn’t show so much interest in it either.
He smiled a little as he watched Katie disappear into the dressing room. Shaking his head, he left to prepare him self for the scene.

“Iz… I’ve been thinking about what to say all day, and to be honest, I haven’t really come up with something yet. But I… I love you. Words can’t describe how crazy I am about you. You changed my life. You showed me what real love was about, you made me realize that I am good enough. You…”
He swallowed, feeling tears in his eyes as he looked into her tear filled eyes. “Im not good with words… You know that. But you… You made me better. And I wanna be better. I wanna be better, with you, for the rest of my life.”
Tears started to drop down her beautiful cheeks, and he reached up his hands, brushing the tears away.
“Alex…” Her voice was shaky, and barely above a whisper. “You’re the love of my life.”
She swallowed, smiling. “My life hasn’t made sense. Not until I let my self realize that I had been… I had been fooling my self all the times I thought I loved someone else. The truth is…” She let out a sob. “The truth is that I gave my heart to you the second you kissed me at the bar.” She smiled, her eyes sparkling. “I never forgot it…”
She gently stroked his cheek. “I love you, Alex… You are my future.” Both of them had tears running down their cheeks, and Alex gently stroked her face, moving closer her. He didn’t care what the minister said. He didn’t care if he wasn’t supposed to kiss her yet.

“Cut!”

Justin and Katie both looked at the director.
“Great job! Now, the kiss. I want feeling, all right? Katie, remember, Izzie is living her dream. This is her dream wedding, and this man is the love of her life. I want to see that in this kiss okay? And Justin, Alex loves Izzie. She’s it for him. Get what I mean?” Justin nodded.
“Okay. From Izzie’s line. Action!”
Katie gently stroked his cheek with her warm hand. “I love you, Alex… You are my future.” Justin reached up his hands, stroking her face. He looked deep into her eyes as he moved closer. Slowly leaning in, he captured her mouth in a kiss. Gently, he traced her jaw line, as her palms met his chest. Deepening the kiss, he pulled her closer, and her arms wrapped his neck. Their tongues tangled, and he felt warmth go through him.
He titled his head, kissing her even deeper. Her fingers were in his hair, and she kissed him back passionately. He worked hard not to groan as her sweet tongue ran over his, instead taking her face in his hands, letting his tongue take control, which she willingly let him.

“Cut!”

The voice made Justin snap out of his dreamy state, and he blinked, pulling back. Katie stared at him with a breathless expression on her face. They had never used tongue. They had faked using tongue for other kisses, but they had never really kissed each other. Not like this. Really not like this.
“That was perfect.” The director called.
Justin swallowed. “I… Im gonna go, over there for just a second.” He turned and fled from where she was standing. He couldn’t stand so close to her. Not right now, when all he wanted to do was to grab her and taste her again.
Katie watched him leave, bringing one finger to rest against her lips. She could still fell the softness of his on them, and that scared the hell out of her.

“I kissed Justin.”
TR raised his eyebrows as he looked up from the script he was going through. “Umm, yeah Katie, you pretty much do that a few times a day.”
Katie groaned, burying her face in her hands. “No, I actually kissed him. At least I think I did… We… We used tongue.”
TR dropped the script. “What!? Where!?”
“We were filming the wedding kiss. I don’t know… We just kinda… Kissed, for real.” TR picked the script back up. “Are you sure? I mean, you have kissed him a hundredth of times…”
“Exactly! It has never felt this…” She swallowed. It had been… Different. “I just… I don’t know.” She went up from the chair she was sitting on. “Maybe I just wanted it to feel different.” She sighed. “Why am I even thinking about this?”

Justin was sitting on a bench outside the building, staring into space. How much he even tried, he couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss. It had been… Different.
He felt someone sit down next to him, and he swallowed, staring at his hands. They sat in silence for what felt like forever. “Keisha wants us to go to couple’s therapy.” He said in a tried voice. Silence… “That’s… Good.”
He looked up, meeting her gaze. She broke the eye contact, smiling a little. “It’s good, Jus.” She nodded to her self. “She wants to try to work this out, and you should give her a chance.”
He looked at his hands, and nodded a little. “Yeah… Yeah, I should.”
They sat in silence for a moment. “Look, Im sorry about… before.” Justin looked up at her again, looking embarrassed. “It was me, and I am sorry. I guess Im just confused with all this…” He shrugged lightly. Katie shook her head. “It was me. Me and Josh had s fight this morning, and I guess I was just… Im sorry.”
Justin nodded a little, before he stood up. “I better go to that meeting…” Katie looked up at him, smiling a little. “Yeah. Say hi to her for me.” He nodded a little, smiling. “See you.” He walked away, and Katie watched him leave, before looking down, biting her lip.

“I think we’re gonna do great here.” The woman smiled.
“He came.” Keisha smiled, squeezing Justin’s hand. “That’s enough for me.” Justin smiled, leaning to kiss her cheek. But as he settled back in the couch, watching his wife talk to the therapist, his smile slowly faded. It was just a kiss. Just a kiss. Right?

Katie closed her eyes. “Hmm…” She mumbled into her pillow, not really listening to Josh. Bringing her finger tip up to gently stroke her lower lip, she swallowed. It was just a kiss. Just a kiss. Right?

Chapter 3 (Happy birthday)



2 months later

”Happy birthday, daddy!”
Justin blinked, opening his eyes to see his kids, all smiling. Jackson was holding a wrapped in present, and jumped on him as fast as his eyes were open. “Happy birthday!” He placed the present on his chest, and Justin chuckled, ruffling his son’s hair. “Thank you, son.”
“Mom told us to wake you. She’s preparing the food for the party.” Isabella said, dragging her legs up under her where she sat on the bed. Justin ran his hands down in face, smiling a little. “Yeah…”

“It’s Justin’s birthday today?”
Katie looked up from the breakfast she was making, nodding quickly. “Yeah…” Josh smiled. “Ahh it’s great. Party was tonight, right?” Katie nodded a little again, and Josh grabbed an apple on his way. “See you tonight.” He kissed her and left. She sighed a little. She didn’t know why she hadn’t seen how… Annoying, Josh could be, before. All he really talked and cared about was him self. She guessed she hadn’t cared about that before, but now she did. She liked to be seen. To be in the center off someone’s attention sometimes. She liked feeling beautiful.
Okay, she knew there were plenty of people out there that thought she was, but she liked to have one person close to her think that. That made her think of Justin, and she swallowed. Things had been… Weird, between them these past couple of months. And she didn’t like weird. She had gotten used to having him as one of her closest friends, and she didn’t like where they were now. Barely hanging out, just talking when they had to…
They hadn’t said another word about the kiss. It still mad her feel weird to think about. She had kissed him a lot of times. A lot. But she had never thought about it before. It had never made her so… confused. Sighing, she picked her cell phone up.
“Happy b-day! I’ll bring a cake tonight. K”

Justin swallowed, putting his phone in his pocket, scrubbing a hand down his face. Great. He wasn’t gonna tell her she couldn’t come. He knew he wanted her to come, but it was for other reasons. Bad reasons. Reasons he wasn’t even gonna let his brain think about.
“The kids are making balloons. I thought you would help them.”
He watched Keisha check the food she was making. “Keisha… Why are you doing this?” He leaned against the counter. “Doing what?” Keisha said, distracted. Justin shrugged gently. “This. Preparing a big dinner for my friends. After the last couple of months…”
Keisha sighed. “Justin, this is your birthday. Im just making an effort, okay?”
She left the kitchen, and Justin shook his head.
More like pretending we’re fine, he thought to him self.

Katie walked up to the house, Josh walking casually behind her, talking to TR that had taken a ride with them. She held the cake carefully in her arms as she titled her head, looking towards the back of the house.
“Katie!” Isabella called, smiling as she waved. Katie smiled, walking around the house, the man fallowing her.
“Hi sweetie.” She leaned and gave her a one armed hug. “You know where I can put this?”
Isabella took a sneak, and grinned. “Great, cream and chocolate! I think you can put it in the fridge.” Katie smiled and tanked her before walking up to the glass door that led to the kitchen. She opened it gently. “Hello?” When she didn’t get an answer, she shrugged, walking up to the fridge. She was about to leave when she heard voices. Loud voices.
She frowned, walking slightly to the left, seeing Justin and Keisha standing on each side of the living area, fighting.
“You can pretend all you want! Im not gonna go around playing happy and lying to my kids and friends!” Justin yelled. He looked frustrated and tired. She felt her heart ache for him.
Keisha glared at him. “If you can’t even pretend to be happy with me for one night Justin, then what the hell are we doing, trying to make this work!?”
“Don’t make this my fault!”
“It is your fault! You and your precious work and perfect friends! You would manage without this family, and you won’t stop proving that too me!”
“Well, maybe if you weren’t such a demanding bitch I would come home more often!” Justin snapped back. Katie swallowed, backing away. This isn’t your business, she thought to her self, quickly leaving the house, only hearing small glimpses of Keisha’s loud response.

“Happy birthday, Justin!” Ellen grinned, raising her glass of wine. Justin smiled a little as they all did, smiling to him. His eyes met Katie’s for a second, before he looked away. “Thanks guys. Now lets eat, or whatever.” They laughed and started to eat. Katie watched Justin sadly. She hated this.
“Hey, you have barely touched your food. What’s wrong?” Josh mumbled in her ear. Katie smiled a little, picking in her food. “I guess I am just not that hungry…” She looked up, seeing Keisha leaving to walk towards the house. “I… I gotta go to the bathroom.” She said quickly, standing up. Justin was in a discussion about football with James and Eric, and didn’t notice her leaving.
Katie lightly knocked on the door, before walking in. Keisha looked up from the sink, smiling a little. “Katie. Long time no see.” Katie smiled, wrapping an arm around her self. “Yeah… Are you okay? I saw you go up here and…” Keisha sighed a little. “Well no, not really.” She looked up at her. “Me and Justin are seeing a marriage therapist.” Katie did her best to look surprised. “Oh… Im sorry.” Keisha shrugged. “Can’t say it’s working that well though.” She swallowed. “Look, Katie, you’re friends. Good friends.”
“Don’t know about that.” Katie mumbled to her self.
“He’s not seeing anyone else, is he?”
Katie blinked, looking up. “What?” Keisha rested against the counter. “He’s away a lot. And I don’t mean away, away. Even when he’s here, he’s not here. He is great with the kids. He’s the perfect dad, really, but he… He’s absent. I just thought I maybe knew?”
Katie swallowed, shaking her head. “No… I… No, he hasn’t really told me stuff lately.”

“Have you seen Justin?”
TR looked up from the cake he was eating, meeting Katie’s gaze. “No, I don’t know where he went. Where were you?” Katie looked around, not really answering the question. TR frowned. “Hey, are you okay? What’s going on?”
She opened her mouth just as Josh brushed up behind her. “There you are. Wanna go home?” Katie moved away from him. “No, I haven’t gotten a chance to talk to Justin yet.”
Josh raised his eyebrow. “So? You can talk to him any day.” Katie felt anger bubble up in her. “Would you just stop telling me what to do!?” She snapped. Josh stared at her, surprised, and she glared at him. “You go home. I don’t care. Here, you can even take the car keys.” She threw them at him. “Don’t forget to drive TR home.”
And with that she brushed passed them, walking away.

Justin kicked around Jackson’s football, taking a long swing of his beer. He kicked the ball away and sat down on a bench with his head in his hands. He hated this. What the hell was happening to him?
He closed his eyes, his thoughts directly settling on her. He had thought about her constantly for the last couple of months. It killed him. The fact that he went through the day by thinking about her smile, her hair, her scent, her body… It wasn’t right.
Not just because he was married. But because she was his friend. His best friend. He might not be hers, but she was his best friend. It wasn’t right. But still, thinking about her, felt right. In some sick twisted kind of way.
“There’s a big party for you and you’re hiding here?”
He looked up, meeting her gaze. He tired, but failed, to not let the emotions overwhelm him. Since when did she have this massive impact on him? He looked at his hands. “Yeah well, Im not in a party mood.”
“No?” She sighed, sitting down next to him. “Me neither…” She crossed her leg over the other, and Justin’s eyes fell on her foot. He stared at it for a while.
“Katie…” His voice was low, and she felt a shiver race down her spine as she met his gaze. They stared at each other for a while, before Justin buried his face in his hands. Katie swallowed. “I bought you a present.” She said, almost whispering. Justin looked up from his hands, looking at the small present she held out. He swallowed before he took it, gently unwrapping the paper. Inside was a clock. An expensive looking clock. He picked it up, holding it up.
“I don’t know. I walked passed the store and saw it, and I just thought of you. If you don’t like it, I can…”
The words died on her lips as his mouth covered hers. She didn’t get a chance to get over the shock and decide if she wanted to kiss him back, as he broke the kiss as soon as he had started it. “Im sorry.” He said, standing up, baking away. Katie stood up, swallowing. “It’s okay…” She took a step towards him, but he backed further. “It’s not okay. Please K, leave before I…” He ran his hand down his face. “Just please leave.”
Katie turned to leave. She was about to leave. In that second, she planned to leave. But in the next, she had changed her mind. Turning to stare at him, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand, she knew she couldn’t leave.
Her brain wasn’t in control. It didn’t control her feet as she closed the space between them. Her hands grabbed at the sides of his face, and she drew his face to hers, kissing him hard.
Justin was cut of guard. For two seconds. Next thing he knew, he pulled her roughly against his body, kissing her back. Her hands remained in his face, as his hands ran down her back. It made her shiver, and she leaned in closer, her lips continuing to dance with his. One of his hands ran into her hair as he slowed the kisses down, gently sucking at her lower lip. She smiled a little as they took a second off each others lips, and as she was about to kiss him again, they heard Isabella’s voice through the dark.
“Dad?”
Katie swallowed, meeting Justin’s gaze. Justin gently brushed her hair out of her face, his fingers trailing down her cheek. “You have to go.” She whispered. Justin traced her jaw line.
“I don’t want to go…” Katie swallowed, backing away. “They are your family. You have to go.”
He looked at her for a moment, before he left. Katie turned, watching him go, closing her eyes. What the hell where they doing?

Chapter 4; (Not gonna stop)


”We have a guest we really like here tonight.” Ellen DeGeneres announced, smiling. “She’s one of our most talked about actresses right now, and her character has cancer, and just got married. Im of course talking about our very, Katherine Heigl!”
Katie planted a smile on her face, entering the room. She waved to the audience and hugged Ellen before sitting down on a chair.

“Wow, I love the chairs, so comfy!”
Justin cracked a small smile, watching her. She looked beautiful, wearing a red dress that did wonderful things to her body. She smiled to Ellen, and her whole face lit up on the way he loved. Isabella entered the kitchen. “Wow, Katie looks pretty!” She said, walking over to the fridge. “Yeah…” Justin nodded a little. “She does.”

“So, we gotta talk about the wedding! Im gonna come out and say it. I think it was the most heartbreaking, beautiful moment in Grey’s anatomy history.” That made the audience clap their hands, and Katie laughed softly. “Yeah wow. It’s totally one of my favourite moments so far.” “I mean, the connection between Alex and Izzie? Wow. You may have heard this before, but you and Justin look gorgeous together!” Katie swallowed quickly, laughing as a picture of her and Justin showed up on the screen.

“Look dad, there’s you.” Isabella giggled, nodding to the screen. Justin who had been busy preparing food, blinked, looking up. He reached for the remote, turning to sound up.
“You gotta give us some juicy details. What’s it like, working with Justin?”

Katie swallowed, tucking lightly at the hem of her dress. What the hell was she gonna answer to that? “Justin…” She took a deep breath. “Justin is like a brother to me.”

Justin stared at the screen, feeling his heart sink. He was like a brother to her? Like… A brother? It had been two weeks since his birthday party and the forbidden but completely amazing kissing.
They hadn’t really had a chance to talk more about it. They weren’t working for another month, and had only seen each other a few times. He guessed it was good though. If they had spent a lot of time together, he would probably already gone out of the line with her.
Because even though he felt terrible, guilty, and everything you could feel when you had a wife and kids and did this, he couldn’t stop. He couldn’t stop thinking about her.

Katie smiled. “He’s amazing to work with. He really knows his stuff, and I learn a lot from him. And he’s just amazing as a person too.”
Ellen grinned. “Well, that’s good. Im looking forward to a lot of Alex and Izzie next season. Can you give us any sneaks?” Katie laughed. “No, we haven’t actually started filming yet. I don’t know anything about this season, but it’s Shonda, so I know it will be amazing.”

Katie walked through her front door, closing it with a sigh. The act had worked pretty well, if she could say it her self. It had been hard, thinking of professional things to say about Justin, when everything she’d had in her head were thoughts about what an amazing kisser he was. How he made her feel important with the way he stroked her face.
Shaking her head, she rid her self from the thoughts. There would be no more kissing. She was married, and she wasn’t a person who believed in adultery.
Besides, Justin had a family. A wife and 5 kids! That wasn’t something she wanted to compete with. And to make it even messier, they were friends. Really good friends. Had been practically since they met. She wasn’t ready to give that up just because they both were going through some weird thing right now. No matter how much she wanted to…

Entering the kitchen, she stilled. Josh and what looked like his entire band where sitting by their kitchen table. There were bottles of liquid on the table, and the empty bottles next to them told her that they were drunk.
Josh looked up, and grinned. “Hey, the wife is home! Katie, come and have some beer.” Katie felt anger. She swallowed, gritting her teeth.
“It’s 2pm.” She bit out. Josh looked at the clock, and laughed. “Oh right, I guess it is.” Katie glared at him.
“Could I talk to you, in private?” Josh shrugged, and stood up, stumbling after her into the living room.
“What the hell, Josh!?” She snapped, staring at him. Josh shrugged. “What? I can’t take my band mates home now?”
Katie closed her eyes. It was no point in getting too mad. But she couldn’t help it. She was pissed. “You’re drunk! 2pm, and you’re drunk! What the hell happened to you?”
Josh rolled his eyes. “Stop acting like such a wife.” He went back into the kitchen, and Katie stared after him.

Justin opened the door. “Sorry I am late.” He frowned at the couch. “Keisha isn’t here yet?” The marriage therapist, Lena, nodded towards the couch. “No, it’s just me and you today.” Justin frowned even more, sitting down. “What? Why?” Lena leaned forwards in her chair. “She didn’t tell you she’s been seeing me alone? I just assumed you knew, since she booked you a meeting with me last week.”
Justin raised his eyebrow. She had been seeing the therapist alone? They had stopped go to meetings every week because both of them saw that it didn’t really do them any good. They just ended up fighting more and were always pissed at each other at home after the sessions.
“Sometimes it’s good, going alone. Whatever you say here, is safe with me. I won’t tell Keisha about it.”
Justin moved nervously on the couch. “Um, okay. That’s good, I guess…”
“So, Justin, putting everything aside, is it something you would like to talk about?”

Katie sobbed, and putted the phone to her ear. It went directly to the voicemail, just like the other four times she had tired to call him.
“Damnit, Jus, pick up! I… I just need to see you. Please, call me back.” She closed her phone and rested her forehead to the door of the trailer they shared. Starting to shake, tears started to stream down her cheeks.
Josh was different. Not at all like the man she had married. She swallowed, and took a couple of deep breaths.
It’s gonna be okay, she mumbled to her self. Picking her cell phone up, she called him a sixth time.
“Justin… Please…” She whispered, begging. “If you are mad at me, or something, please tell me. Josh… He’s… I just need to see you so you can tell me everything is gonna be okay.” She stared to sob again, closing the phone.

Justin walked out of the building, picking his cell phone up. He had to call her. He needed to talk to her. After telling Lena about this friend he had, who he was pretty sure he was starting to have feelings for, he knew he had to talk to her.
He blinked as he saw that the person in his mind had called. 6 times. Quickly, he listened through his messages. Closing his phone, he went for his car; almost sure he knew where she was.

Katie looked up, her tear filled eyes meeting his. She stood up slowly. “How did you…” Justin closed the door gently behind him. “We used to talk here. During the filming to season 3. Are you okay?”
Katie swallowed, walking closer. Justin searched her eyes. “K…” She gently placed her hands to his chest, looking up into his eyes. He had to fight hard not to touch her. “Katie, don’t do this…” She moved even closer, her finger tip running along his jaw. “Why?” She whispered. Justin placed his hands on her hips.
“Because…” He closed his eyes as her warm breathing hit his face. Her nose brushed against his. He swallowed hard as his erection woke to life.
“Because if you start this…” He opened his eyes to look into hers. “If you start this, then Im not gonna want to stop.” Her hands slowly glide down his chest, to the hem of his sweater. Her eyes, sparkling of desire, looked into his. “What if, I don’t want you to stop?”
The next thing he knew, he had pinned her against the trailer wall next to the door, kissing her hard. Her hands grabbed at his shirt, and she pulled it over his head, dragging his black wife beater with it.
He started to unbutton her shirt. “Rip it.” She breathed between passionate, hungry kisses. Grinning, he did what he was told and ripped her shirt open, revealing a black lace bra. She helped him work it of her arms, before she hooked her arms around his neck, her teeth nipping at his lower lip.
Tucking her up closer, Justin let his tongue glide against hers, feeling her relax in his arms, moaning softly. Feeling to need to please her more, he broke the kiss to kiss her neck, nipping at her earlobe.
“Bed…” She whimpered. He pulled back, searching her eyes. “Are you sure?” He whispered.
She took his hands into hers, and started to lead him towards her bedroom, on the right side of the trailer.
“Yes. Im sure.” She wrapped an arm around his neck, kissing him hard, tucking him into the room.
The door slammed closed after them.

Chapter 5; (Not a mistake)

Slowly, a hand slide up her abdomen, waking Katie up slightly. The hand reached her breasts, and she quietly sucked in her breath as his fingers toyed with her nipples, that got hard under his touch. He nuzzled her neck, nipping behind her ear.

“You should go, right? I mean, I bet the kids wonder where you are and all…” He nodded a little.
“I guess I should…” He kissed her softly. “But I don’t wanna leave this warm bed or your gorgeous body.”
She smiled a little. “This gorgeous body has to go home too.”
Justin sighed, but nodded, rolling off her. They got dressed in silence, but before she had the time to leave he stopped her by the door, pulling her close and pressing his lips against hers. He left her breathless.
“What was that for?” She whispered as he stroked her cheek.
“Just something to get me through the day.”

“Where the hell have you been!?”
She jumped, looking up to see Josh, looking pissed. She swallowed. She couldn’t tell him. “I… I went to TR. Spent the night on his couch.” Josh sighed, and suddenly he just looked tired.
“You could have answered your phone. I was worried about you.” He pulled her into a hug. “Im sorry about yesterday, okay?” She wrapped her arms around his back, nodding a little, feeling incredibly guilty. “Yeah… Im sorry too.”
Was she, sorry? Was she sorry that him being a jerk had led to her, getting the most amazing sex she had ever had? How could you be sorry for a thing like that?
She pulled back. “Im gonna make something to eat…” She smiled a little as he kissed her cheek. “Great. Im gonna hang with the guys.”
Entering the kitchen, Katie leaned to the counter and buried her face in her hands. She maybe should have been thinking and wondering why Josh had been on his way to see his band when he was so worried about her, but she was tired.
Tired of thinking about how Josh didn’t care for anyone but him self and the music. Tired to think about that she was his wife, and still not his other half.
So that was why she thought about Justin. And sex. And that made her miss him. That made her miss him a lot. And it made her wish she hadn’t gone out of that bed.
Picking her phone up, she dialled a number. “Ellen, hi, I thought we maybe could go to lunch?”

“Daddy!” Justin had barely gotten through the door before he had his kids, all 5 of them, over him. Seeing his beautiful kids made him feel guilty. He was a father of five kids. Five perfect kids. That woman happened to be Katie, and he had never done anything more amazing than having sex with her. “Dad, where were you?” Isabella asked, hugging him. Justin swallowed. He hated lying. “I was…”

He stood there for a moment. “Why didn’t you tell me you have been going to that woman alone?” Keisha turned around.
“Gee, I don’t know, because you would never go there if I told you? You hate those therapists.” Justin sighed, and walked up, taking out the cheese from the fridge. She glared at him, but he shrugged. “Don’t let this go out over the kids.”
They were silent for a while, making lunch. “Whatever you were doing last night, finish it. At least if you still wanna have me, and the kids.” Keisha said, before she walked over to the table. Justin looked down at the food.

“The chicken looks great. I think I’ll have that.” Ellen said, putting the menu down. Katie, who had been staring at the same word on the menu for a couple of minutes, nodded a little. Ellen frowned. “Katie, you okay?” Katie looked up, smiling quickly. “Yeah, Im fine. Just… Im fine.” Ellen watched her, before she shrugged. “Well what do you…”
“Actually, Im not fine.” Katie started, interrupting Ellen. “That’s why I asked you to lunch actually. I was gonna call TR, but this isn’t something you can talk with a guy about…”
Ellen smiled a little. “What’s wrong?”
Katie looked up into her friends green eyes, taking a deep breath.

The words were on the tip of her tongue, but she quickly swallowed them when she realized how it sounded in her head. She, who hadn’t been married for that long, had slept with Justin, who had been married to his wife for like 16 years, and who had 5 kids. She didn’t need Ellen to stare at her like she was crazy. “I… Josh and I are going through this thing now, and… I guess Im just…”
“Having doubts that he was the one you were supposed to marry?” Ellen asked. Katie swallowed, nodding. “I guess you can say that.” Ellen reached out, squeezing her hand.
“It’s okay to have doubts Katie. Im sure you two will go through this thing and you will recognize your marriage again. It has happened to me a lot of times with Chris. And I still love him.”
Katie smiled a little. “Thank you.” Ellen waved over the waitress.
“Just focus on each other, and your marriage. Don’t do any stupid things that can push you further apart.” Katie swallowed.

Justin looked up as Katie entered the trailer. They looked at each other. Katie gently walked over to where he was sitting. He stood up, and when she reached him, he pulled her close. They kissed passionately, and Katie cupped his face in her hands. “I was gonna tell you it was a mistake…” She whispered as they pulled back. Justin rested his forehead to hers. “Me too.”
Katie swallowed, backing away from him. “If it was a mistake… Then why didn’t it feel like one?”
She leaned against the wall, watching Justin. He walked over to her, slowly. He reached her, and tenderly took her head in his hands, kissing her. She wrapped her fingers around his wrists, kissing him back. He broke the kiss, brushing his nose against hers. “Maybe because it wasn’t a mistake.”
She smiled a little, letting go of his wrists and reached over to the lock on the door, turning it around. “We don’t have to stay here all night this time.” She whispered against his lips, reaching down to grab her own top, pulling it over her head.
He grinned, yanking his own shirt over his head. “I like the way you think…” He murmured in her ear, his fingers working her pants open.
She smiled, pushing his jeans down. He grabbed her hips, picking her up in his arms, holding her against the wall as she let her mouth trial down his neck to his chest. She nipped at his nipples, smiling as it made him groan as he was working with her bra.
Their chests joined as Justin pressed her closer against the wall, his mouth covering hers. Their tongues danced hungry as she freed his **** from his boxers, and ran her fingers over it. Justin took a hold of her hands, both of them, and pinned them up against the wall.

Two weeks later

”Damnit!”
Justin blinked, and opened his eyes, frowning. He lifted his head of the pillow, and watched Katie run around in the trailer, getting dressed. “K?” He sat up, the covers falling around his waist. “What’s wrong?”
“We weren’t supposed to fall asleep!” Katie putted her top on. “This hiding around is terrible! I don’t need Josh to start suspecting something, too!” She sighed, sitting down on the edge of the bed to put her socks on.
Justin raised his eyebrows. “Josh? That guy would only react if you had taken his guitar with you.” Katie rolled her eyes. “Justin…”
Justin scooted closer, sliding his arm around her, nuzzling her neck as his chest pressed to her back.
“Come on…” He murmured, kissing her neck softly.
Katie sighed, letting her hands fall flat to her foot, which was only half covered by the sock. “Stop it…” Her eyes fluttered closed as she titled her head back. She placed her hands to his forearm, and traced the muscles gently.
“Justin.” She giggled as he nipped at her ticklish spot right below her right ear. “How can you be so calm?”
Smirking, Justin pushed her back on the bed, climbing on top of her.
“Because Im at a hotel with Ellen and Eric. We’re doing a thing for the show.”

Shonda sat down, nodding. “I thought we could hang out, have some fun.” Katie’s gaze met Justin’s.
“Just us?” She asked, looking at Shonda. “Yes, Im afraid you’ll have the leave the spouses at home.”

“It’s crazy. I mean, two weeks in Spain?” Ellen said, as they all left the room together, having told Shonda they were gonna think about it.
Patrick nodded. “Yeah I mean, leaving Jill and the kids for two weeks?”
Katie swallowed. “Well… It doesn’t have to be bad, does it?” She looked slightly towards Justin. Justin met her gaze for a second. “She’s right. Could be fun.”
TR raised his eyebrow, watching their exchange. “Since when did you two want to be away from home?” Both Justin and Katie shrugged, mumbling something, making TR frown even more.
Sara shrugged. “They are right, I could use a vacation.”
Eric nodded, but Chyler smiled a little. “Im afraid I have to stay home with the baby. But you guys should go, really.”

Keisha entered the bedroom, raising her eyebrows as she watched Justin pack clothes into a bag.
“Going somewhere?” She asked, leaning her back against the door, crossing her arms across her chest.
“Yeah. Going to Spain with some others from work. Shonda had bought tickets, and she’s paying the hotel and everything, so I thought, why not.”
He packed some other clothes, and looked up at Keisha. “I already asked the kids. They thought it was okay, just as long as I bought them a lot of presents.”
His wife shrugged. “Well okay then.” She left, and Justin shook his head with a sigh, and continued to pack.

Katie swallowed, lightly knocking on the door. The music went silent, and she opened the door to the basement. Josh looked up from his guitar, looking at her. It gave her a bitter feeling of knowing he probably was annoyed that she had interrupted him and his dear guitar.
But at the same time, looking at him, she felt pain. He may not be crazy about her, and she maybe wasn’t crazy about him, but they were still married. He did still love her.
And she was cheating on him. There was no other way to say it. What she and Justin had was an affair. So honestly, she didn’t get to be upset about him, loving to play. What she was doing, was worse. Much worse.
“What?” Josh asked, putting the guitar away. Katie smiled a little. “Well… I guess I just… Look, Shonda fixed flight tickets. To Spain. She’s paying for this beautiful hotel and everything. And I wanna go. I just wanted to know if you think…”
“Go.” Josh shrugged, standing up. “She’s paying for it. You would be an idiot to not go.” Katie didn’t know if that was the answer she had wanted. She bit her lip.
“So, you think I should go? Because I was thinking… We maybe needed a little vacation of our own, and…”
“Im gonna play with my band. It’s just easier if you’re gone. Then I don’t have to think of keeping down so we don’t annoy you.”
Katie was slightly taken back by the accusing tone of his voice.
“Well, excuse me if I want some piece and quiet in my own house.” She said, frowning. Josh shrugged.
“No need to have this talk right? You won’t be here.” He stopped briefly on his way out and kissed her cheek. “Have a nice trip.”

“Josh is an ass.” Katie mumbled, nuzzling her face into Justin’s firm chest. Having told their spouses they were gonna leave that night, and not the day after like they actually were, they had met up in the trailer. It had become their escape. A place they didn’t have to worry about getting caught at.
Justin wrapped his arm closer around her, brushing her hair of her cheek. “You just realized that?” Katie smiled softly, smacking his chest. “Shut up.”
She started to trace the outline of the small tattoo he had on his chest with the tip of her finger. Justin smiled a little, nuzzling his nose into her hair. “Im serious though… Guy doesn’t deserve you.”
Katie raised an eyebrow, rolling onto her stomach next to him. She leaned her cheek to the palm of her hand, and raised her long legs up in the air as she grinned to him. “Oh really? Well, you know someone who does?”
Justin grinned, winking. “I can think of some guys.”
Katie smiled, shaking her head as she laid her cheek against his shoulder, cuddling back against his side. “Justin…” She mumbled.
He titled his head, kissing her nose. “Hmmm?” She closed her eyes. “What are we doing?”
A light sigh left his lips. “I don’t know.”
They were silent for a while, before Katie titled her head, placing a soft kiss to his chest. She gently rolled back on top of him, placing soft kisses all over his chest before she kissed her way up his neck to his lips. He buried his fingers in her hair, and she covered her mouth over his.

Katie stared into the magazine she had bought, trying not to look at the person in front of her. She had told her self she wouldn’t let him do this to her. They were on a plane, with their friends. Their friends that had no idea exactly how friendly they had gotten over the past weeks.
She had done a lot, but having sex on a plane had not been one of them. It was in fact a thing she had promised her self she would never do. And god, they had done it three times in the trailer last night.

Chapter 7; (Touch you)


”You gotta be kidding me!”
Katie blinked, opening her eyes. She lifted her head of her pillow, looking towards the bathroom. “Ellen? You okay?” She called carefully as she heard her friend mumble to her self.
When she didn’t get a real answer, she went out of the bed, and walked across the nice hotel room, gently knocking on the bathroom door. “El?”
Opening the door, she saw Ellen sitting on the edge of the bathtub, and pregnancy test in her hand. “Im pregnant!”
Katie stared at her, before a smile spread in her face. “Ellen! That’s amazing!”
Ellen smiled a little, shaking her head. “I don’t know… Is it?” Katie laughed, pulling her up by the hand.
“Of course! You’re gonna have a baby!” Ellen watched her for a moment, before she smiled. “Im gonna have a baby.”

Katie grinned, picking several types of food on her plate. “What’s with the grin?” She shivered as Justin murmured against her ear, before he reached for some bread to put on his plate.
“Stop it…” She mumbled, looking nervously towards their friends, before she turned back to smile at him. “Did you hear Ellen is pregnant?” Justin smiled, nodding. “Yeah. It’s great.”
They walked back to the table together, sitting down.
“I called Chris. He was really happy.” Ellen said softly, smiling. Sandra chuckled, drinking some coffee. “It is about time you two have a baby.”
“But I think one will have to be enough.” Ellen laughed.
“So, not looking for having a zoo at home like Chambers?” Eric grinned, earning a punch in the shoulder from a chuckling Justin. “Shut up, man.”
Katie giggled, drinking some juice. “Well, you are gonna be an amazing mother.” Ellen smiled. “Thank you.”
Sandra watched Katie. “So, you and Josh thinking about having a little one too?”
Upon hearing Josh’s name, she felt Justin go tense next to her. For some reason, every time someone mentioned her husband’s name, Justin would go tense. Looking a little at Justin, who looked down at his food, she wondered not for the first time if he was jealous.
“We haven’t really talked about that yet.” She answered as simply as she could, shrugging.
Sandra seemed pleased with that answer, and grinned to TR. “How about you, T?”
TR rolled his eyes at her, and they all laughed.

“You wanna go down to the pool, Katie?”
Katie looked towards Justin who was leaning against the wall, watching her with a smirk. She turned back to Sandra and Ellen and smiled. “Yeah, sure. I just gotta go up to our room and change.” “Okay, we’ll save you a seat.” Ellen said, before she fallowed Sandra out.
Katie smiled as she pressed the elevator button, feeling Justin’s gaze on her. “Stop staring at me.” Justin chuckled, walking up next to her.
The elevator opened and she felt him close behind her when she entered. When the doors closed, she found her self in his arms. She giggled as she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back as he backed her up against the wall.
“I missed this…” Justin murmured, kissing her softly on the lips before brushing her hair off her face. Katie smiled, tracing his jaw. “You just kissed me last night in the closet.”
Justin shrugged, leaning in. “What if I can’t get enough?” Katie kissed him softly, before she smiled. “You so can’t…” Justin grinned, and they started kissing again.
Katie looked towards the numbers over the elevator doors, sighing as she saw that they were almost on their floor. She gently brushed her lip gloss off his lips, smiling.
“Maybe we can sneak away later.”
Justin sighed but nodded, kissing her cheek. “Have fun at the pool.”
As the doors opened, they smiled at each other, before going separate ways.

TR sat down at the outside bar, ordering a beer. He turned his head and looked towards the pool. Katie, Ellen and Sandra were sitting on sun chairs, talking.
He couldn’t really place what it was with Katie, but he knew it was something. She was, happier, than usual. Had been for some time now, actually. And what he knew nothing particular had happened. Josh and she even seemed to be having problems.
But what did he know. Katie hadn’t really shared much with him lately. They hadn’t really hung out. She always seemed to be busy with something else.
“A beer, thanks.” Justin sat down next to TR, and nodded a little to him. “What’s up, man?” TR hesitated. They had been spending time together…
“Has Katie said anything to you?” Justin froze for a second, looking up at TR. “Huh?”
TR shrugged. “She isn’t talking to me. I just thought, since you seem to be hanging out a lot, maybe she talks to you?”
Justin drank some beer, looking towards the women. He couldn’t help smiling a little as he watched Katie laugh. She was beautiful. “About what?” He asked, looking back at TR.
“Well, maybe about why she’s so happy lately.”
Justin felt something jump in him. “She’s happier than usual?” He tried to hide the proud smirk that begged to be released. TR shrugged. “Well, yeah. And don’t get me wrong, I want her to be happy, but Im just a little confused.” He looked towards her again.
“They are having problems. Her and Josh.” Justin played with his bottle, nodding. “Yeah well, she doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to fix it, right?” He laughed, but TR just shrugged again.
“She told me she wants to make their marriage work, yesterday. That’s why she went here. To give him some breathing space.”
Justin stopped playing with the bottle, looking up. “She said that?” He demanded, feeling anger bubble up in him. He had no idea why he was so pissed, but he couldn’t stop it. TR looked surprised. “Yeah. But that’s good, right?” Justin bit his teeth together, his jaw twisted.
“Yeah, sure, great.” He snorted, going up from his bar stool, leaving TR looking after him, frowning.

Katie watched Justin leave, sighing quietly. Seeing him in shorts and the black wife beater that did little to cover his sexy arms didn’t really help her being natural when he was around.
“Hey Katie, what’s up with Justin?” Katie blinked, looking at Ellen. “What?”
Ellen put her sunglasses over her eyes, and lay comfortably in her chair, facing the sun. “I met Keisha a couple of days ago. Apparently they are having serious problems. She also asked me if I knew if he is, as she put it, screwing someone else.”
Katie laughed nervously. “Yeah, yeah, she has asked me that too.”
“So?” Sandra said, sitting straighter in her chair, looking at Katie. “Is he screwing someone else?” Katie glazed at her.
“You don’t know Justin at all, do you?” She snapped. Silently thanking her acting skills, she went on. “Justin would never hurt his family like that.”
“That’s what I told Keisha.” Ellen agreed. “But apparently he has been away, a lot. And he doesn’t fight for their marriage.”
“He’s trying! We both are!” Katie snapped, before she had the time to think. Sandra and Ellen looked at her, confused.
Katie swallowed. “I mean… He does work on it. Just like Im working on mine.”
Ellen shrugged, and they all fell silent.

Katie sat down in front of Justin by the table at dinner. She tried to catch his gaze, but he didn’t seem to acknowledge that she was there. Frowning, she watched him eat and talk to Eric. Was he ignoring her? Even tough they knew they had to be careful around their friends, they didn’t pretend the other one wasn’t there. They almost did the opposite. But now, watching the way Justin didn’t even look her way, she knew that he did it on purpose. What had she done now? Had he heard about the conversation earlier and was mad at her for saying too much?
She picked in her food, smiling a little to Shonda as she sat down next to her. “Hi! Having a good time?” Katie planted a smile on her face, nodding. “Yes, Im having a great time.”
“And I see that you have a tan already.” Shonda shook her head, laughing. “Shouldn’t be allowed for these women to be so pretty, huh Justin?” Katie looked up, meeting Justin’s gaze, and she was taken back by the coldness in his usually warm eyes. He grinned to Shonda though. “Yeah.” Katie looked down at her food, swallowing.

“Justin!” Justin bit his teeth together, and continued to walk, trying to escape her. But she caught up with him, grabbing his arm, pushing him with her into a room that happened to be a spear room, filled with furniture.
Justin yanked his arm back, walking across the room, scrubbing his hands down his face. Katie stood by the door, her hand resting to the handle as she stared at him. “What have I done?”
“Why would you have done anything?” Justin muttered, kicking a pillow that lay on the floor away.
“Because you aren’t even looking at me!” Katie sighed, turning the lock around on the door before she walked closer him. “If I have done anything, then Im sorry.”
She smiled a little, reached for his hand. But he walked away from her, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Are you here because you are trying to make your marriage work?” He didn’t want to know the answer. But he had to ask.
She frowned a little. “Sort off, maybe…” She searched his face as his jaw twisted. “Justin…” He looked away. “Aren’t we? Supposed to work on them?” When he didn’t answer, Katie sighed, looking down. “Justin…”
“You sleeping with him too?” The snap startled her, and she stared at him as he glared at her. “Wh… What?”
“Josh! You sleeping with him too!?” Katie blinked. His eyes were on fire, and he looked pretty ready to kick someone’s ass. “Well, are you?”
“Justin, what the hell?”
Justin pushed away from her and walked across the room again. “I get sick!” He snapped.
“I actually get sick thinking about him, touching you! And what makes me even sicker is knowing that he has the right to touch you! He can go around public and kiss you! He can stare at you for how long he wants, without having to get ****ing caught because of it. I don’t care that he’s your husband, because he’s an ass, but when I think about him touching you…” He clutched his fists.
Katie felt like she was glued to the floor. Staring at him, he said all the things she had feared to feel about him and Keisha. She watched him practically tell her it wasn’t just sex.
“When I think about that, I just wanna go over there and kick that bastard’s sorry ass.” Justin bit out. “Because I…” He stopped pacing, burying his face in his hands. “I wanna be the only one who touches you.” He said quietly.
Turning to look at her, his face had turned from angry to broken. “When I touch you, I think that you’re mine… Not his.”
Katie swallowed, feeling her eyes fill with tears. “Jus…” She whispered. “I can’t be yours.” Justin nodded, lowering his head. “I know. When I think about that, I just feel… Lost.”
Katie felt a tear drop down on her cheek as she closed her eyes. “Im not.” She said, barley above a whisper. Justin looked up at her, and she looked at him with tearful eyes.
“Im not sleeping with him.”
Justin looked at her for a moment, before he started to walk. Katie let out a sob as she started walking too. They met in the middle of the room, kissing each other hard.
His fingers buried in her soft locks as he ran his tongue against hers, kissing her with all he had.

His fingertips gently ran down her spine, his lips fallowing in a soft trail. She closed her eyes, resting against the pillow he had kicked away earlier. They couldn’t have ended up in a better room really. There were like five beds in there.
She shivered as he kissed his way back up, before rolling her onto her back. He gently brushed her hair off her cheek, before he kissed her passionately.
His warm hand placed soft caresses against her body, and she hooked her arm around his neck, giggling as they rolled around so she was on top. Smiling, she stroked his cheek.
“Don’t you think the others are wondering where we are?”
Chuckling, Justin kissed her fingers. “Maybe.”
Smiling, she straddled him. “You wanna go back out?” She asked, placing soft kisses against his chest. She teased him lightly, and Justin let out a low groan.

Giggling, Katie tried to slow Justin down. “Justin!” She whispered, laughter in her voice. “What if Ellen wakes up?”
Justin grinned, tucking her with him down the hall way, his hand in hers. “Then you’ll just tell her you went for a walk.” He looked around the corner, and seeing that it was clear, he led her towards his room.
“4am?” Katie giggled as he unlocked the door. With a grin, he pulled her close and pressed her between his body and the door. “Hmm, yes, whatever.”
He leaned in and kissed her, closing his eyes as he let him self enjoy the feel of her soft lips against his. It was something he had grown addicted to. Feeling her hand against the back of his neck, gently drawing him closer, she parted his lips, her sweet tongue tangling with his. He broke the kiss, opening the door and pulled her inside with him.

Katie snuggled her face deeper into the soft pillow, sighing softly. She felt his warm body come closer hers, and a smile played over her lips as he wrapped his arm around her and nuzzled her neck.
“What time is it?” She mumbled softly, brining his hand up to her lips so she could kiss it. Justin leaned over her, picking his watch up from the small bedside table. “7.”
Katie groaned. “Damnit… Ellen better won’t be up.”
She sat up on the edge of the bed, reaching for her underwear. Justin watched her, signing as she put her bra on. “Thanks for covering the nice view.” She giggled and slapped his arm. “Shut up.”
She slid her top on, and worked her way into her jeans, complaining to her self as they got stuck by her feet. Justin chuckled, and left for the bathroom.
Looking around in the room, Katie quickly made the bed before she headed for the door. “Justin, Im leaving.” She called, looking towards the bathroom as she opened the door. She turned her head back, just before she would have walked right into TR. Her eyes went wide, meeting his as wide eyes.
“Katie?” TR started slowly, looking passed her shoulder. He looked back at her, who was frozen by the door. “What are you doing here?”
“I thought you were leaving.” Justin chuckled, leaving the bathroom only clad in a pair of boxers. His smile faded slowly though. TR’s eyes went even wider. “W… Oh my god!”
Thinking quickly, Katie grabbed TR’s arm and pulled him roughly inside, slamming the door shout. “I knew I heard you!” TR yelled, his eyes wide off shock. “I knew I wasn’t just fooling my self! You two are having…”
“Would you just stop yelling or shut the hell up, Knight!?” Justin snapped. TR stared at him. “You think Im just gonna…”
“Shut up!” Katie whispered, covering his mouth with her hand.

Ten minutes later…

Katie bit her lower lip, watching TR pace back and forth in front of her from where she sat on Justin’s bed. Justin was leaning against the wall across the room, now wearing a t shirt and a pair of shorts. TR stopped pacing, and turned to look at them both. “I guess I just… Why?”
Katie swallowed, looking towards Justin. “It just sort off… Happened.” Justin nodded a little. “We just…” They both looked away.
Yeah, why? Katie had no idea why. The first time, it maybe had been because he was so wonderful and sweet and she had wanted to be comforted. The second his lips had met hers though, she had wanted him. Not because Josh didn’t want her. No, she had wanted him. All of him. She felt like that every time he kissed her. It was like he woke up an animal inside her, and she just needed to have him. Did she do it because it felt good?
Justin looked at Katie, murmuring, “Because she takes my breath away.”
He hadn’t meant to put his heart out there like that, but he couldn’t just… He knew from the start that going into this had been wrong. Known that it wasn’t normal to think about your friend as often as he had thought about her over the years. And that was before he had gotten a chance to feel her. To have her. Now, he was in too deep. He knew he was, but he couldn’t stop it.
TR stared at him, but his attention was on Katie, who looked at him with awe.

“You have to talk this through.”
Katie closed her eyes, sighing softly. “TR…”
But TR looked at her, his face serious. “I mean it Katie. You…” He looked around, and then gently pulled her by the arm aside in the big room they were in.
“You are married.” He whispered. Katie sighed. “I know…”
She bit her lower lip. “It’s just… Josh doesn’t look at me… Not like Justin does.”
She felt her heart flitter. Not at all like Justin looked at her. TR watched her. “This isn’t just about Josh. Justin has a family.” Katie looked away. “I know.”
“Then what the hell are you doing, Kat? Are you in love with him?” Katie blinked, looking up at him. “Of course not!” She said quickly. TR searched her eyes. “Are you sure about that?”
Katie swallowed, whispering, “Yes. Im with him because it makes me feel good, okay? I don’t love him. I love Josh.”
Justin felt like his heart dropped to the ground. He felt like someone had given him a good hit in the chest. Swallowing, he nodded a little, turning around to leave, without having let Katie and TR know he was there.
Slowly walking down a hall way, he stared at the floor. What the hell had he been thinking? Why would she be with him for more than sex? Why would she love him? He guessed he had just assumed, since he…
He swallowed, stopping, picking his cell phone up. He dialled the number, and waited. “Keish… Hey…” He murmured, and started to walk again.

Katie knocked gently at the door.
She hadn’t seen him at dinner, and started to get a little worried. Something good had come with TR finding out. He had made her realize that they couldn’t keep pretending it didn’t matter, what they were doing. They needed to talk.
She knew she wouldn’t just sleep with him. Problems or not, she had made a promise to Josh. It took more than some great sex to break something like that.
What she and Justin had, was more than sex. She felt her self shiver of excitement, smiling as the door opened.
“Hi… We need to talk.”

Justin gently closed the door after her.
“We do need to talk…” He murmured quietly, walking over to his bed, where his suit case lay, half full of his stuff. Katie’s smile slowly faded, as she took the suit case in.
“What… What are you doing?” She looked up at him, searching his eyes for an answer. He shrugged lightly, walking over to the closet across the room. “Im going home.”
“But…” Katie swallowed. “Why?” Her stomach started to knot up. Justin placed some more stuff in his suit case, avoiding her gaze. “I called Keisha. We talked. For over an hour, actually. It was… Nice.”
Katie felt her stomach knot up even more, and blinked quickly, as tears formed behind her eyes. “Okay…” She whispered. “What… What does that mean?”
Justin closed the bag, and looked up at her. “It means Im going home to my wife and my kids.”
Seeing her fighting tears was hard for him, but he kept his face natural. He was doing her a favour. This way she could go back to Josh, just like she wanted. He picked the bag up, and walked towards the door, taking his jacket. “I mean for us…”
He turned around, meeting Katie’s tear filled eyes. “What does this mean for us?”
He looked her into the eyes, feeling his heart scream for him to throw the suit case and hold her. Hold her and beg her to love him a little bit. Tell her that he had loved her pretty much since the first time he saw her.
But as he looked at her, he just heard her voice like an echo in his head. “Im only with him because it makes me feel good.” “I don’t love him. I love Josh.”It hurt too much. “I don’t know Kat. I guess I’ll see you at work.” He answered coldly, before turning his back at her, leaving the room.
Katie felt like she couldn’t breathe. Tears were quickly blocking the view, making it blurry as she tried to make sense of it all. But it didn’t make sense… Taking off to a run, she ran after him.

“Justin!”
Justin looked up from where he had put his bags in the back of the cab he was taking to the airport. Katie stared at him, her eyes glistening of tears.
Blinking as they saw a flash, both of them looked up as they saw a photographer standing a bit away, taking quick photos of them. Justin quickly opened the door to the cab, and went in. Katie hurried to the other side, and climbed in too. She grabbed his arm.
“What did I do?” She whispered. Justin avoided looking at her, but she placed her hand to his cheek, forcing him to.
Justin closed his eyes, and pushed her hands off his face. “Get out, Kat.” Katie stared at him. “Why are you talking to me like that? Look at me!” She let out a sob as he snapped “Get out,” again. “Why would you call her?”
“Because she’s my wife! Okay!? She’s my wife, and they are my kids, and I love them! I love my wife!”
Katie swallowed, looking down. “Im sorry…” A tear dropped down on her cheek. “Of course you do…” She shook her head, trying to smile. “God, Im acting like you’re breaking up with me… Im so sorry.” She opened the door, and stepped out.
Justin watched her helplessly as the door closed. The cab driver turned his head. “Are we gonna drive?” He asked in a pretty bad American accent. Lucky, he hadn’t understood much of their conversation.
Hesitating, Justin stared at the door. Then he turned back, looking at the driver, nodding. “Go.”
Katie watched the cab leave, and whipped at her cheeks, taking a deep breath. Seeing a flash, she noticed that the camera guy was still there. Quickly, she wrapped her coat closer around her and hurried into the hotel.

Check this out!

As we know, parts of our beloved cast are in Spain. Sounds nice and cute huh? Well, that doesn’t seem to be the case for Justin Chambers (Alex Karev) and Katherine Heigl (Izzie Stevens).
We watched the couple exchange wedding vows and promise their love for each other in the 100th episode of Grey’s anatomy, but it doesn’t seem to be as sweet between the actual actors. A photographer caught them outside the hotel, where our stars are spending their vacation, in a less than happy mood. If you ask me, it seemed pretty much like a couple’s fight.
BUT, Justin wouldn’t do that to his family, would he? And Katie, who got married not that long ago, should deff know better than to cheat.
Well, I guess time will have to tell, huh? Besides, who would mind these two gorgeous people getting it on, eh? ;) Well, except from their spouses of course.

Katie closed her eyes, and settled back further in the couch. The magazine in her lap was opened on page 13, which was covered with pictures of her and Justin outside the cab, the cab while they were in it, and her after it had left.
It had been three days, and she had gotten home to this. Josh had just laid the magazine down in front of her, chuckled and said something about ridiculous rumours, and gone to play with his band. He hadn’t even given her a proper kiss.
Looking back down at the picture of her watching the cab leave, she swallowed. This wasn’t good. Not good at all. She looked just about as heart broken as she felt.
She hadn’t talked to Justin since he left Spain. Just thinking about him made her heart hurt. It shouldn’t be this hard… She had known they wouldn’t keep seeing each other secretly forever. Right? They were married. He had kids. They were far more important than she could ever be to him, she knew that. It had been stupid, getting attached. Really, really stupid.
But she had, and now, three days without getting to be in his arms, without getting to kiss his soft lips or look into his beautiful eyes, she felt lost.
Her phone started to buzz next to her, and she picked it up, looking at the screen. Swallowing, she pressed the button. “Hi…”
It was silent on the other line for a moment. “Im sorry…” Hi voice shock lightly. She closed her eyes, nodding a little. “It’s okay…”
“No, it’s not.” Justin said on the other line. “I was an ass. The magazines… It’s my fault.”
“No, it wasn’t.” Katie closed the mag, putting it on the table, standing up. She bit her lower lip gently. “Justin…”
“We can’t, Kat… We… We should have never let it go this far. And we… We can’t take it farer. Okay? If we do, I’ll just fall…” He went silent, but Katie nodded a little.
“We need to stop. Before it gets… Messy.” She whispered.
They were silent for a while. “Plus, with all the magz, we better stay apart, huh?” Justin said, trying to light the conversation up. Katie tried to smile, but failed. “I guess…”
“See you at work next week?” He mumbled. Katie closed her eyes. “Yeah…” She hung up, and swallowed, covering her mouth with her hand as she let out a sob.

Chapter 9; (I love you)

”I love you, Alex Karev.” Izzie said softly, running her fingers through his hair. Alex grinned, resting his forehead against hers. “I love you too, Izzie Karev.” Izzie giggled, tightening her hold on his neck as their lips met.
“Cut!”

Katie’s eyes reminded closed as Justin pulled away from her. She could feel him move further away on the bed. It was probably for the best. Especially since lying half naked in bed with him in front of a camera and not being able to do what her body was screaming for, was hard enough.
She sat up on the bed, looking a little at Justin, who didn’t meet her gaze, before she smiled to the director. “We’re done?”

“I miss him.” It was a quiet mumble she hadn’t expected her self to let out. TR, who was sitting with her at their lunch break, looked up at her. Katie played with a napkin. “It has been two weeks, and I miss him so much.” She looked up at TR with sad eyes. “What am I supposed to do?” TR watched her for a moment, before he looked down at his food. “Maybe you should concentrate…”
The rest of his sentence was gone for Katie as her eyes fell on Keisha and Jackson. Justin came up to them, and Katie felt like someone had hit her in the stomach as he kissed his wife. It hurt, so bad. Watching her kiss his perfect lips, just reminded her of what she couldn’t have. What she would never have.
It also hurt because he was hers. Okay, he wasn’t really hers. Actually not hers at all, but still… He was hers. In her heart, in her mind, he was hers. She wanted him to be hers. But that doesn’t mean he is. She silently told her self.
She swallowed hard as Jackson saw her and grinned big, waving his small hand. He looked just like Justin. She put on her best smile, waving to the cute boy.
The kids liked her. No, they actually loved her. Isabella was such a sweetie, and they had a bond that Katie loved. She was also friendly with the other girls, and Justin once told her that he was pretty sure Jackson had a crush on her. She loved those kids, and she would never do anything to hurt them.
Except you already have… The voice in her head reminded her. It doesn’t matter if they know or not. You had sex with their dad. They will find out, and you will be the one they blame.
We aren’t even doing it anymore, Katie thought. We are moving on, and no one will find out.
You call this moving on? She shook her head to rid her self off the voice.
“Katie?” She blinked, looking up at TR. “Sorry. You were saying?”
TR smiled a little. “I was saying that you should concentrate on Josh. Kiss his ass; show him that you wanna put effort in him. Im sure he will do it back.”
Katie looked towards Justin who was smiling and talking to Jackson. “Okay…” She smiled sadly, shrugging. “It’s worth a try.”

Why are you doing this? The voice annoyed her. She pushed it away and entered the kitchen, smiling a little as she saw him by the counter, talking on his cell phone. She bit her lip, and walked up to him. Placing her hands to his chest, she rested her forehead to his shoulder.
Breathing in his scent, she tried to feel something. Anything like the way she felt when she was with Justin. Anything like she had felt before they got married. Closing her eyes, she slid her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He laid a hand simply on her back, and continued to talk with the person on the other line.
She frowned lightly, but told her self she just needed to be clearer. Titling her head, she started placing kisses against his neck. Justin loved when she kissed his neck… Stop it, she thought, pushing the thoughts of Justin away. This was about Josh. This was about moving on from the mistake she and Justin had made.
“Hey, I gotta go.” She felt his arms go around her lightly, pushing her back. “Katie? What are you doing?”
Katie smiled, leaning closer to kiss his cheek. “What does it look like Im doing?” She kissed his jaw, and moved to his lips, but he moved away.
“I don’t have time. I gotta go and meet the band.” Katie swallowed, looking away.
“What happened to us?” She asked, tears building in her eyes.
The tears weren’t as much for the fact that her marriage was falling apart, and more for the fact that he didn’t give her the flutter in her chest anymore. Not like Justin did.
Josh was silent for a while, before he gently placed his hand on her cheek, making her look at him. “Im sorry… I’ll come home early tonight, okay? We can catch up.” Katie smiled a little. “Okay.”
You don’t want to fix this. The voice said. You know you don’t love him like before.

Katie walked slowly along the street. She didn’t know where she was going, just that she needed to go somewhere. Somewhere to clear her head from the annoying voice. It had fallowed her all day, and it was driving her crazy. Slowly, her steps came to a halt. She looked up towards the house, and swallowed hard. Of course this was where she went when she let her heart make the decision. It was so wrong, but still so right.
“Kat?” She turned her head, and met his hazel gaze as he walked slowly towards her, clearly coming home from a run. “What… What are you doing here?” His voice was unsure, but his eyes were filled with emotion. Emotions that made her feel things she shouldn’t feel.
She bit her lower lip, shrugging a little. “I just… I… I don’t know.” They stared at each other for a while, before Justin looked towards the house. “I better get inside…”
“Wait…” Katie took his arm. Justin stilled, and looked at her. Katie felt a rush of emotions go through her, and it was on the tip of her tongue to release them. To just tell him. To just let it out.
“Justin, I…” She whispered quietly. Justin stared intensely into her eyes. “What?” He asked in a low voice.
Katie swallowed, shaking her head as she let go of his arm. “No… I… Im sorry.” She hurried passed him and Justin watched her leave, with a sad look on his face.

Justin closed the bathroom door, and leaned his back against it. Damnit… He had almost done well. Almost gotten her out of his mind at least for a couple of seconds a day.
But it didn’t work if she was gonna come to his house and look at him like that. He had settled with the thought that she had only been with him for sex. But when she looked at him like that, he got confused. Confused as hell.
He had thought that she wanted to stop what they had been doing to make things right with her husband. That was why he was now making an effort with Keisha. The only thing that made him fight for his marriage was the fact that Katie didn’t want him.
Burying his face in his hands, he groaned. Did she want him now? And if she did, what the hell where they gonna do about it?
He knew he loved her. Yes, he would even use that word. He loved her, and had for a long time. Even when things had been fine with his wife, Katie had always been his escape. His beautiful, amazing friend that he was insanely in love with. It hadn’t really been a problem, since them both had been married. He had gotten to be with her at work; witch meant that he spent more time with her than he did with his family. It had been wrong, but fine for him.
But things weren’t that easy anymore. Not just because he loved her even more after knowing what it felt like to have her. The fact was that he had a family. He had kids. Kids he couldn’t hurt. But he loved her. He loved his kids, and he loved her. And that was messy.

Katie lay in bed much later that night, sobbing into her pillow. She was just so tired. Her life was such a mess. Josh hadn’t come home like he promised. She had almost told Justin… Yeah, what?
Hugging her pillow, she closed her eyes. She saw his face. His eyes, his smile, his dimples. Was it possible that she had really fallen for him? That somewhere during the sex, she had fallen in love with Justin? Her heart fluttered in her chest. Was she? In love with him?
Finally. The voice said. I actually thought you would figure that one out sooner.
A sob broke though her. She was in love with him. Oh god…

Justin opened the door to the trailer. He didn’t know why he was there, just that he needed to get away. He couldn’t be in his house. Couldn’t be with his wife and kids when he felt this lost.
He stilled by the door. Katie was sitting on a couch, her eyes red and puffy from crying. Their eyes met and Justin felt his heart ache of pain. “What’s wrong?” He asked in a low voice.
More tears came and Katie started to shake, crying into her hands.
Justin walked slowly, hesitatingly over to her. “Kat?” He sat down next to her. Gently bringing a palm to cup her cheek, he made her look at him.
Katie looked into his eyes with eyes filled with emotion. She let out another sob and leaned forwards, her lips brushing against his. He closed his eyes and kissed her back, bringing his other hand to cup her face.
It had been over two weeks since he had gotten to feel her lips against his like this, and it had been torture. Kissing her on set wasn’t the same. They couldn’t make it the same.
He gently broke the kiss, resting his forehead against hers. “Katie…” Katie covered his hands with her own, shaking her head. ”Just kiss me… Please…” She whispered, her voice shaky.
Justin sighed. He couldn’t just kiss her. “I can’t.”
Katie pushed away from him, standing up. He watched her as she walked across the trailer, whipping at her cheeks. “How could it not have meant something to you?” She was heartbroken, and it played out in her voice. Justin frowned. “What?”
Katie turned to look at him. “Us. How could all that sex mean nothing to you? Was it just that? A lot of great sex?”
Justin stared at her. “What?” He stood up. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Now it was his turn to be hurt.
Katie shrugged. “Well, clearly I meant nothing to you!”
“Nothing!? You seriously think you mean nothing to me!?” Justin snapped. He was angry. Angry that she was trying to make this his fault. Trying to make him being the one who hadn’t showed his feelings.
“Well, you clearly don’t want me! You go back to your wife without even warning me! You ditch me in Spain! The only reason I went there was because I wanted to be with you!” Katie yelled, angry tears in her eyes. Justin bit his teeth together, turning for the door. “No, go a head Justin! Get it out! Tell me I am wrong.” Katie snapped.
Justin turned to stare at her. “You want me to get it out? Fine, I will!” Justin yelled. “You wanna know the ****ing reason to me, going back to Keisha!? You! I heard you! I heard you when you told TR I was your freaking sex toy!”
Katie’s mouth slammed closed, and her face went pale.
“I can accept that I was only sex for you, I can, but Im not gonna let you think that about me! You are everything to me!” His voice rose with every sentence.
“You have been all I ****ing think about since we started working together! I think about you, all the time. I even imagine your freaking face while I have sex with me wife!”
He was pissed, so pissed that he couldn’t keep anything back. “I have been trying to make it go away, believe me, I have! But I can’t! I…”
“So that is my fault!? It’s my fault that you feel this way about me?” Katie yelled, interrupting him.
His words had affected her deep in her soul, but the way he seemed to want it to go away hurt her.
“Besides, you think you are alone with feeling something!? I have never felt like this before! Not for Josh, not for anyone!”
Justin opened his mouth, but she raised her hand. “Shut up! I hate you, you know that!? I hate the way you make me feel! I hate that you make me want to end my marriage! I hate that you make me feel beautiful and worthy! I hate it!”
Tears started to run down her cheeks. “I hate you so much!”
“Then if you hate me so much, why the hell would you…”
“Because I love you!” Katie cried. Justin was silent, staring at her. “I love you so much that it hurts! I hate you because I am so in love with you that I can’t breathe!” Katie sobbed, her voice starting to drop. “Im not supposed to love you! But I do, and I just…”
She looked into his eyes that were looking at her intensely. “I love you…” She whispered.
The trailer fell silent. Katie felt her heart beat fast as she waited for Justin’s response. But he just stared at her, and her heart started to sink. Looking down, she nodded a little. “Okay…” She whispered, walking towards the door.
But his hand caught her wrist. Her eyes met his for a second before he pulled her close. He kissed her with so much emotion that Katie had to grab at the fabric of his shirt in her hands, not to fall over. He held her face between his hands, his fingers playing with her soft curls.
When the need for oxygen became too big, he broke from her mouth, resting his face against hers. Their quick breaths went even with each others as she looked into his eyes. Tenderly, he caressed her cheek.
“I love you too.” He murmured softly, before he captured her mouth in another breath taking kiss.

Her giggle tickled his ear, and Justin grinned, kissing her ticklish spot again. “Justin, stop it…” Katie giggled, moving his face up to hers. Their lips met softly, and Katie ran her fingers along his jaw.
Justin pulled back and rolled to his back, taking her into his arms. She smiled, snuggling up close to him. “I missed this…” She mumbled softly, nuzzling her face into his chest. He nuzzled his nose into her soft hair, closing his eyes as he breathed in her scent. “Me too…”
His arms wrapped tightly around her, and knew in his heart that he never wanted to let go.

Chapter 10; (The truth)

Slowly and softly, Justin ran the back of his hand up and down over her arm. He rested his head to his other palm, smiling a little as he watched her sleep. She was so beautiful.
He loved everything about watching her sleep. The way she talked in her sleep, the way she would move around so much that she nearly kicked him off the bed. The first nights he had almost fallen of a couple of times, but he had gotten used to it. It was adorable.
Sighing, he gently moved his hand to caress her cheek. Smiling as she freckled her nose, he traced her jaw line with a finger. Her eyes fluttered open, and a small smile spread over her lips as she closed them again, covering his hand with her own. She laced her fingers through his, and snuggled up closer to him.
He lay his head down next to hers, and rested his chin against the top of her head. “What are we gonna do?” He asked in a low voice, pressing a soft kiss against her temple.
He didn’t want to break the happy bubble it felt like they were in, but he knew they needed to talk about what they were gonna do. They couldn’t deny their love for each other, for each other. How would they be able to do it around others?
Katie was silent against his chest, and for a second he thought she had fallen back asleep, but then she sighed a little. “I don’t know…”
She trailed her fingers gently along the side of his body, placing a soft kiss against his chest. “I just know that I am in love with you, and I just wish we could stay here forever and not having to deal with anything else.”
Justin stroked some hair of her cheek. “I don’t know if I can hide this.” He murmured quietly. “I don’t know if I can pretend Im not completely in love with you around people.” He pulled back slightly to look into her eyes. “I don’t know if I want to pretend.”
Her hand gently touched his cheek. “Justin…”
“I have to tell Keisha.” Justin said, looking her sincerely in the eyes. “I have to tell her. I can’t go on and live in a lie. It’s not fair to her or the kids.”
Katie searched his eyes gently. “Are you sure?” She whispered.
He leaned in and kissed her. “I just wanna be with you.” He murmured.
Katie smiled, her eyes sparkling as she nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Okay.” She whispered against his lips before she kissed him. Justin grabbed her gently, and rolled on top of her, deepening the kiss.

Katie smiled softly as she looked through the script she had in her lap. She was going over today’s scenes; sadly none of them was with Justin. But that was okay, she thought, smiling. He would tell Keisha tonight.
It shouldn’t make her happy, that he wanted to tell his wife it was over, but it did. Because things had quickly turned even more complicated. She was in love with him now. And knowing he loved her so much that he wanted to tell his wife about them made her all tingly inside.
Of course she felt guilt. For Keisha, but mostly for the kids. They didn’t deserve this. She loved those kids, and hurting them was the last thing she wanted. She didn’t want to take their dad from them. She didn’t want to be the obvious reason to their parents’ split up. But at the same time, like Justin said, him staying with them and being unhappy with their mother was even more unfair.
Something else she felt guilty about was cheating on Josh. Loving someone else than Josh. It hadn’t been her plan, when she married him.
She had thought that what they had was forever, but clearly, it wasn’t. She loved him, sure. But she wasn’t in love with him. Not on the crazy wonderful way she loved Justin. That way was the way you were supposed to love someone.
Hearing the door open, she looked up, smiling a little. “Hi, El!”
Ellen smiled back, resting her hand to her little baby bump as she walked across the room, sitting down next to her. “Hi. How are you? Feels like we haven’t talked in ages.”
Katie put the script away, smiling. “Im good. How are you? Both of you, of course.” She added, making Ellen giggle. “We’re fine.”
She rubbed her belly. “Well, except from all the paps. Im telling you, it feels like they are fallowing me!”
Katie sighed, nodding. “Yeah… But that’s probably because you look so gorgeous. The pregnancy glow really suits you.”
Ellen smiled. “Thank you. I guess I should have gotten used to the paps already, too. I mean, when something big happens, they are everywhere.” She reached over for the script. “I mean, they saw you and Justin outside the hotel, and directly assumed you were having an affair.”
Katie’s face went slightly pale, but she smiled quickly. “Yeah, right.”
“I mean, they do anything for good stories. If you and Justin really had been having an affair, they would probably throw them self’s over you.” Ellen looked up, laughing. Katie laughed forcefully. “Yeah, wow.”
She swallowed. Ellen was right. If the paps found out about her and Justin, they would never leave them alone. It would be first page material in those stupid gossip magazines.
If they were to make what they had real for the media, they would probably have to go through endless gossip and comments. Especially since they both were married and since Justin had always been such a family man in people’s eyes.
Was she ready for all that? Justin telling Keisha about them would be the start of it. She knew that. Smiling a little to Ellen, she wondered if she was ready for it.

“Dr Karev.” Alex turned around, meeting Derek’s serious eyes. “We should talk, about the patient.” Alex looked away, sighing. “Im fine.” He bit out. Derek watched him. “I know that you don’t want to talk to him, but it could really help. Actually, it could feel good for you to…”
“You’re not my wife.” Alex snapped. “I have enough time telling Iz that I don’t want to talk to him! I don’t need you to hover over me and tell me what to do!” Derek nodded a little. “I understand that it’s hard…”
“No, you don’t, Dr Shepherd!” Alex snapped. “You don’t know what it’s like to finally have settled down to a life you love, only to have it all destroyed by the person that made your life crap!” He took up a chart. “I don’t give a **** about the fact that he’s sick. He’s not my father. He never was my father.”
He walked away, leaving Derek leaning against the desk, sighing.

“Cut!”

Justin walked back, settling the chart to the desk. “Was that okay?” He called to the director, and chuckled as he gave him thumbs up. “Great scene, Chambers.” Patrick shook his hand.
Justin exchanged some more words with his friend before he walked aside, picking a water bottle up. Having a small break from filming, he sat down in a chair, playing with the bottle while he went back to think about how he was gonna tell Keisha about him and Katie.
She wouldn’t take it nicely, he knew that. And of course she wouldn’t. She had always gotten really well along with Katie, no surprise there, since Katie got along with everybody, so he knew that the fact that it was her would hurt too.
But their marriage hadn’t exactly felt right for a long time now. He had held on for the kids, and he was pretty sure that Keisha did too. They had grown apart. He loved her, and would always love her, since she was the mother of his five beautiful kids, but he couldn’t just pretend. He couldn’t pretend to be in love with her for the rest of his life for his kids. In the long run, it wouldn’t be fair.
Feeling his stomach knot up, he thought of his kids. They were suspecting that their parents weren’t on good terms, it was obvious, but they still knew so little. They didn’t deserve this. He wanted so desperately to be a good father and role model for them. This wasn’t exactly what a good father did.
Staring at his bottle, he heavily sighed. And the media… Damnit, why couldn’t anything be easy?
“Justin, you ready to go again?” Justin put the bottle away and stood up. At least his work was something he was good at. “Let’s go.”

Katie turned her head, looking at Justin. “Jus…” She said gently. Justin took his eyes off the road for a second, looking at her. “Hmm?” Katie bit her lip, looking out at the dark night through the car window. “Have you… Have you thought about what would happen if people found out?”
“Well, Kristin would probably spam that E-online site with, I told you so ’s.” Justin joked lightly, making Katie laugh. He smiled a little, shrugging. “They would put us through hell.” He said, and Katie nodded slowly. “Are we ready for that?” She asked, looking at him as he stopped his car on the top of a hill, a bit away from the city and all the paps. He turned his head and looked at her for a moment, before he scooted closer her and kissed her softly. She smiled a little, placing her hands against his cheeks as she kissed him again. “I love you…” Justin murmured softly, titling his head as he slowly kissed his way down her cheek to her neck. Katie’s eyes fluttered closed, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. A giggle left her lips as he pushed at a button, and her seat fell over so he was on top of her. “I love you too.”

Katie slammed up the front door. “Josh?” She called, her voice shaking. All the way home people had attacked her. She didn’t think she had ever seen so many flashes of cameras before. They wanted her to comment. They wanted to know everything.
Stumbling into the bedroom, Katie stilled. Josh was fixing his hair by her make up mirror. There was no suit case on the bed, and he didn’t seem to be about to leave. Nothing was like Katie had expected.
“Josh?” She tried quietly. Josh nodded a little to her reflection in the mirror. “Hey.” Katie blinked, watching him walk across the room. “I… I thought you knew…”
“Of course I know, Katie. It’s all over the internet.” He said calmly, leaving the bedroom. Katie hurried after. “I didn’t want you to find out like that… Im so sorry.” She begged, as they entered the kitchen.
Josh shrugged. “It’s okay. No hard feelings.” Katie stared at him. “No… No hard feelings!?” Josh nodded, looking at her. “It’s cool.”
Katie’s jaw twisted. A couple of steps, and she reached him, slapping his cheek. Ignoring his call of her name, she left the house, slamming the door.

Justin looked at his hands. “Say something.” He begged gently. After a couple of moments silence, he looked up at Keisha. She was sitting on the other side of the living room table, looking in disgust at the magazine she had thrown there. The first page was a picture of him and Katie, kissing. If you went to page three, you would find three other pictures of them. Justin hadn’t meant it to happen. He had wanted to talk Keisha before anyone else found out. He had wanted to at least give her that.
“The kids are in their rooms, and they won’t come out.” Keisha’s words were short and cold. “They won’t come out because they are embarrassed, and broken hearted!”
Justin buried his face in his hands. Didn’t she think he knew that!? Didn’t she think it had hurt him more than anything to look his kids in the eyes and see their disappointment? He knew that he had hurt them, and that was like a knife in the gut.
“The kids are my life, Keisha, you know that.” He sighed, sitting back in the couch. “Im not fooling around with her.”
“I don’t wanna hear a **** about her!” Keisha snapped, standing up. “Yeah, but you need to!” Justin joined her, raising his voice slightly. “Im not fooling around. I fell in love, okay? I know I suck and you hate me, I know that. But we aren’t working, and I can’t live like this!”
Keisha stared at him, her anger seeming to fall off. “You’re in love with her?” Justin nodded a little. “I was gonna tell you. Last night. I was gonna tell you.”
“Tell me what? That you have fallen in love with someone else and that you’re leaving me and the kids?” The hurt was clear, and the knife went deeper.
“Im not leaving the kids.” He said quietly. “Just me.” Keisha said, tears in her eyes. Justin looked away. “Keish… I can’t do this anymore. The fighting and the anger. It’s… It’s not fair to us, or the kids.”
“How long?” Keisha asked. Justin looked at her. “How long have I been sharing my husband with that whore?”
“She’s not a whore.” Justin snapped.
“I can call her what the **** I want!” Keisha snapped. “How long has she been my friend and ****ed my husband behind my back!?” Justin closed his eyes and looked away. Keisha watched him, nodding. “It’s been going on for a long time, hasn’t it?”
Justin didn’t answer, but that was enough for Keisha. “Get out.” She snapped.
Justin looked up at her, still not moving. “Justin, get out! I don’t want you in this house anymore! Get out!!”
Justin shrugged his jacket back on. “I told you. Im not leaving the kids.” He said, before he left the house.

Katie sobbed as she fled into the trailer, shouting the door after her before the group of people that had fallowed her wouldn’t be able to fallow her inside. Justin stood up from a chair, moving quickly over to her. “What’s wrong?”
He pulled her close and she cried to his neck, wrapping her arms around his back. “Is it the jerks out there? Did they hurt you?” Justin murmured into her hair, his voice soft, but still protective and irritated.
Katie pulled back, shaking her head. “No, it’s Josh.” She whipped at her cheeks. Justin got something dark over his eyes. “Did he hurt you?” He bit out.
Katie felt warmth in her heart. Josh didn’t even care that she had cheated on him, but Justin looked ready to kick his ass just because he thought that he had done something. She shook her head, sinking back into Justin’s embrace.
“No... It doesn’t matter anymore.” Looking into his eyes, she bit her lip. “Everyone knows.” Justin nodded a little, and Katie couldn’t help giggling.
“Does that make us kind of a couple?” A grin spread in Justin’s face. “I suppose it does.”
Katie smiled, leaning in to brush her mouth against his. Justin pulled her closer and kissed her, enjoying the fact that he finally had her. Sort of.

Chapter 11; (It’s okay)

Katie went out of Justin’s car, closing the door just as a woman came hurrying, a camera man behind her. “Justin, Katherine! Can I ask you some questions?”
Justin placed a protective hand on Katie’s back, leading her away from the woman. “Justin, who will get the kids when the divorce is finale?” The woman called, hurrying after them.
Justin ignored the question, and led Katie through the door, where the woman got stopped by the door guards.
Katie sighed, turning to look at Justin. “Im sorry.” Justin smiled a little, and shook his head. “It’s fine. Just a discussion I rather have with my wife than a reporter.”
Katie smiled and kissed his cheek softly. “Thank you for being my body guard.” Justin grinned as they stopped outside the dressing room Katie was gonna be in.
“Was it that obvious?” When Katie giggled, he chuckled. “Sorry, just don’t want them to annoy you.”
“It’s okay.” Katie said softly, leaning in to kiss him. “You’re protecting me, and I love you for that.”
Justin smiled and kissed her again, just as the door opened and Sara came out. Giving them a wink, she walked passed them with a smile. Justin raised an eyebrow, watching her go before he turned back to Katie.
“Well, that reaction wasn’t that bad.” Katie laughed, pushing at him. “Go get ready, Alex.” She teased, and Justin chuckled, walking away.
Katie watched him go; smiling a little, before she pushed the door open.
When she entered the room, it got oddly silent. Ellen and Sandra looked up at her, as did Chandra and Chyler. Katie closed the door after her, and walked over to her part of the room. It wasn’t like she hadn’t expected this.
“So, are you guys gonna keep talking about me behind my back or tell me what a bitch I am to my face?” She asked simply, looking back at them.
Sandra and Ellen exchanged gazes, while Chandra kept changing in a slow pace. Chyler opened her mouth, but then closed it, shrugging a little as she left the room. Katie nodded a little. “I guess it will be the first option then.” She said, turning away from them.
She closed her eyes when the door closed behind Chandra, and she was alone in the room. She sighed softly, and went on with preparing for work.

Justin looked through his script as he felt a hand to his shoulder. He looked up to meet James’s kind eyes. “Hey, I just thought I’d check if you were okay.” He said, and Justin nodded a little. “Yeah, Im fine. Im crashing at a hotel with Katie.”
“Keisha won’t let you be in the house?”
“Nah. But I think Im gonna give her some space; let her cool of a little, you know.” James nodded, as they both walked over towards the set. Justin looked at the other man slightly.
“Wow, you’re not judging me, huh?” James shrugged, as they stopped behind the cameras.
“You and Katherine came out with this. When I may not think it’s the best you can do when you have a family, I respect you and Katherine.” Justin looked at him with surprise, but huge respect. “Thanks, man.”

“Josh, if you get this, we have to talk sometime. Im going home to get some stuff after work later and I hope you’ll be there. Im so sorry for everything. Well, bye.”
Katie sighed as she closed her cell phone, and smiled a little to Justin who sat down next to her by the lunch table.
“Hey…” He leaned closer to study her face. “What’s wrong?”
She sighed, shaking her head. “Ellen won’t talk to me. Sandra is practically running every time she sees me. Chandra pretends Im not here. Chandra, Justin! She talks to every one.”
Justin looked around, seeing many eyes quickly move from them to something else.
“Katie, we can’t really blame them, can we? Let them get used to it, okay? Let them cool of a bit.” Katie picked at a napkin, and nodded sadly. “Yeah… Have you talked to Keisha yet?” She looked up, searching his eyes that went sad.
“No. She won’t answer my calls, and I know it will do me nothing to go back to the house. I…” He swallowed, looking away. “I don’ know how much longer I can be without seeing my kids though.” His voice shook lightly, and Katie placed her hand in his, squeezing it tightly.
“Im sorry.” She whispered, but Justin shook his head. “It’s not your fault.”
He leaned closer when he saw the quilt in her face. “Hey, it’s not your fault.” He said softly, brushing his mouth against hers. Katie leaned her face to his, and smiled a little. “Are we gonna pretend the entire cafeteria isn’t watching us right now?”
Justin chuckled. “Screw them.” Katie smiled and kissed him again. He was right. Screw them.

“Alex, we need to talk about this.”
Izzie hurried after Alex into the bedroom before he could slam the door in her face, something he seemed to do a lot lately.
“Talk about what, Izzie? My father!? Because I really don’t want to talk about that!” He snapped, his back facing her. Izzie sighed deeply. “I know, Alex. I know it’s hard, and I know that having him here brings back a lot of memories…”
“Shut up… Please, Iz, just shut up!”
Alex yelled, turning around so fast that it made Izzie flinch. Tears burned in her eyes when she fell silent, and she looked at the floor to avoid looking at the angry, haunted look in his eyes.
It was silent for a moment, before she heard his voice, barley above a trembling whisper, say her name. She looked up, and the tears burned worse when she saw the broken look in her husband’s face. “Im sorry…” He whispered, his eyes glistening with tears.
Her heart ached and she let out a small sob, closing the space between them, pulling him close. She buried her nose into his neck, letting him hold her tight to his body while he breathed fast against her neck. She gently ran her hand over the back of his neck, into his hair and then back down.
“Shh… Breathe… It’s okay.” She whispered, titling her head to kiss his ear. “It’s okay…”

“And cut! Great job, you two!”
The director called. Katie smiled as Justin kissed her cheek before pulling away. “You were awesome.” He mumbled, and she giggled, mumbling the words back.
“Hey, love birds!” They both looked up at Betsy, who stood a bit away, a small smile on her face. “Shonda wants to see you in her office before you leave tonight.”

Katie closed the door after her, and watched Ellen make her self a sandwich. She was full into her pregnancy now, and she went to a lot of lunch breaks.
“El?” She said gently. Ellen put some things back in the fridge, ignoring her. Katie sighed deeply.
“You know you can’t keep ignoring me forever, we work together. You’re one of my best friends. Hell, you’re practically like my sister. So you can let it all out on me now, or keep pretending Im not here until you won’t be able to do it anymore. Your choice.”
Ellen was silent for a moment, before she looked up at Katherine. “You know what I thought; when I watched you and Josh get married?”
Katie watched her, and Ellen turned fully to face her.
“I thought, this won’t last. I thought, she’s not meant to be with him. I don’t know why, I don’t know how, but that was what I thought. During your entire wedding day. I kept telling my self I was crazy, but now…” She sighed softly. “Im not mad, Katie. Im just… Confused. You and Justin have worked together for so long, and you were so close friends. I didn’t even know you felt that way about each other.”
Katie bit her lower lip. “We didn’t either. But we just… It happened, and I should say that I regret it and that it was a mistake, but I can’t. Im in love with him, El. It’s crazy.”
She laughed lightly, shaking her head. “It’s messy and crazy and wrong, but god, Im so completely in love with him.” She smiled a half smile. “And he loves me. He really loves me. And it just… It feels right.”
Her heart fluttered. It was the first time she talked about her feelings with someone else than Justin. It felt amazing.

“Katie, Justin, sit down.”
Shonda greeted them, nodding to two chairs in front of her desk. The room wasn’t really an office, more like a writing room, but it was Shonda’s place, and it was there they made a lot of important decisions. Justin and Katie exchanged a nervous gaze, before they sat down in front of their boss.
Shonda moved some papers from her desk, and smiled to them. “Don’t worry, Im not gonna fire you, and Im not gonna say you can’t be together. You know, I did put Alex and Izzie together because I found the chemistry between you two amazing. It is amazing. You look gorgeous together. And it’s of course not a problem that this brings some attention to the viewers. I just feel like we need to talk about if it will bring a problem between you two. You are both so talented, and when you act together, I would call it perfection. But what will you do about your wife? Your kids?”
She looked at Justin, before turning to look at Katie. “Your husband?”
Katie and Justin looked at each other again.

Katie bit her lower lip gently as they walked out of Shonda’s ‘office’.
“She’s right. We need to figure things out. We need to figure out what we wanna do.” Justin nodded.
“Im gonna go over to the house. I need to see the kids, and I need to talk to Keisha.” Katie nodded as they stopped walking.
“And I’ll go home and talk to Josh. We can’t just run from this like we are in some fairytale.” Justin sighed a little and smiled. “It’s a damn good fairly tale though.”
Katie giggled a little, hooking her arms loosely around his neck. “Promise me you won’t act on any sparks between you and your wife.” She joked lightly, and Justin chuckled, hugging her closer. “If you promise me you won’t let Josh bring those sparks out between you two, with his guitar.”
Katie made a face, and Justin grinned.
“Trust me; I’ve had enough of that guitar.” She said softly, leaning in closer him. But just as she was about to kiss him, she felt the burning of several eyes on her, and she pulled back slightly, seeing pretty much their whole group of cast standing a bit away, watching them. Justin saw them too, but he just chuckled.
“I love you, Katie.” He said, leaning his forehead against hers, his voice loud enough for their friends to hear. Katie searched his eyes, but a smile spread in her face. “I love you too…” She said softly, and her smile widened when Justin pulled her up closer, giving her an amazing kiss that made her whole body tingle and her knees go weak.
When they pulled back, and walked out with the rest of the cast, Katie smiled as her hand was wrapped in Justin’s, while Ellen and Sandra came up to her and mumbled their apologies. Justin had been right. It had been a good idea to let them cool of.

Justin knocked on the door, and waited. After a minute, the door opened and Isabella appeared in the door way.
“Dad!” He sighed as he pulled her close. “Hey Bella.” He murmured, his voice cracking lightly.
He loved Katie, and living at the hotel with her hadn’t been anything but amazing, but he still missed his kids. There was an ache in his heart that never went away. He needed his kids. Just because he wasn’t in love with his wife anymore, it didn’t mean he wasn’t in love with his kids.
He pulled back, looking over her shoulder. “Is your mom in?” He asked gently. Isabella nodded a little. “Yeah but… Dad, she’s really angry. You really hurt her.”
Justin sighed. Sometimes he forgot how grown up his oldest daughter was getting. “I know kiddo. I know. Im sorry. You have every right to be angry.”
Isabella bit her lip. “I was angry, at first. I was really angry, but now I just… I miss you dad. I hate this.” Her eyes got teary, and Justin pulled her close again.
“What are you doing here?”
He looked up, seeing Keisha stand by the bottom of the stairs, looking at them with a face expression he couldn’t really read. It was clear though, that he wasn’t welcome into the house.
“Bella, go to your room.” Justin mumbled gently to his daughter, who lingered by his side, looking up at him with sad eyes. “Promise me you won’t just leave again.” She whispered, before she made her way up the stairs, leaving her parents alone in the hall.
“Leave, Justin.”
“They are my kids too.” Justin said, his voice firm but still gentle. He didn’t wanna start a fight. It would do them no good, and he didn’t want to wake the other kids.
Keisha let out a small laugh. “You should have thought about that before you screwed Katherine Heigl.” She said her name with huge distaste, making Justin bit his teeth together. He wasn’t gonna fight.
“The kids had nothing to do with that. I know I screwed up, and that you hate me, and you have every right to, but I also have the right to see my kids. We shouldn’t let our relationship get out on them.”
“We don’t have a relationship, Justin. Thanks to you and your little whore, you’re free. I asked my lawyer to sign out divorce papers for us. Im ready to cut you off completely from my life, and the kids’.”
Justin’s jaw twisted. Calling the woman he loved a whore, and saying she was gonna cut him out of their children’s life, was too much. “You can’t do that.” He spat.
Keisha smiled, shrugging. “Try me.”
Justin glazed at her. “Im gonna fight for them, you know. Im not gonna let you take their father away from them.”
Keisha’s eyes narrowed. “You cut your self of the second you started sleeping with her. Now get the hell out of here, go to your little girlfriend. I don’t wanna see you even near this house again!”
Justin stood there looking at her for a moment, before he turned around and left, picking his cell phone up. He was so gonna get a ****ing lawyer. There was no chance in hell he was gonna let Keisha take his kids from him. No ****ing chance.
He slammed the door closed to his car and put his phone to his ear, swallowing the big lump that started to close his throat. He closed his eyes when he heard the soft voice on the other line. “Katie, she’s planning to take the kids away from me.”

“What?”
Katie stopped in her movement to take her seatbelt off. She was just outside her and Josh’s house and had been on the way to go inside when her cell phone had ringed.
“She’s got a lawyer, she’s fixing divorce papers and she’s planning to cut me off.”
Two main feelings hit Katie. He heart ached at the clear brokenness of his voice, at the same time as she felt a huge anger for Keisha. She knew that the other woman had the right to be hurt, but she was really hurting Justin, and if it was something she couldn’t bare, it was seeing Justin hurt. It was even worse now when he was her boyfriend, the need to protect him was stronger.
“She can’t do that…” She started in a low voice, but Justin sighed sadly on the other line. “Trust me Kat, she’s stubborn. And Im the bad guy here… I just… Where are you?” Katie looked towards the house. “Im at the house.”
“Oh…” Justin said, quietly. “I was hoping you would be at the hotel…” Katie’s heart ached even more, and she closed her eyes. “Justin… It’s gonna be okay.”
But the words seemed shallow and empty, and the need to hold him and make him believe them became strong.
“Im going to the hotel.” She said softly, starting her car.
“No, Katie, you should go in there and do what you have to do.” Justin lightly protested, but Katie shook her head. “You need me. Im coming.”
Justin was quiet for a moment. “Thank you.” He murmured, and Katie smiled a little. “I love you.” She said softly, and turned her car, driving away from her house, not paying any attention to the unknown car that was parked next to her house…

Katie opened the door to the hotel room, and directly as her eyes met Justin’s tear filled ones, she dropped her purse and walked up to him, sitting down on the bed next to him. She placed her arms around him, and he laid his head to her shoulder, nuzzling his face into her neck. She closed her eyes and held him closer, letting him lean to her, just being there for him. It felt good.
And it was in that moment; she realized how much she really cared about him. How much she loved him. And it was that that gave her the courage to open her mouth.
“Justin, I have to tell you something…”

Yes, I needed to put the Katie/Josh conversation there, because honestly, it was needed! They haven't talked it through before, and there was stuff they needed to say. I needed to explain why Josh was acting like he was acting. Imagine being married to someone who you knew would end up with someone else. It's rough. Well, Hannah was more of a escape, like he used his band as one. We'll find out more later. ;)

That line was my fav in the update, so Im sooo glad you liked it too! :sigh: I think it shows Justin's deep feelings for her and their relationship better than anything. He wants them, even though it wasn't planned and everything is a mess, he still wants them. :in_love:

Finally I read the new chapter. Wow! That was intense and powerful with some real surprises. I have to admit that I liked Josh's reaction and I felt a little sorry for him. He knew the whole time that Katie was in love with Justin and didn't say a word. I'm just glad that everything fell into places. They will have and raise the baby together. :yay: The sex scene was so hot. :thud: And now I can't wait for a new chapter. :D
