Yeah, Liam is pretty greedy. Physically, he's with Naomi, but emotionally, he's with Annie. To be clear, I thought Liomi had potential to have depth, but there was/is so much that doesn't sit well with me:

Started off as a booty call
He slept with her sister, even if he didn't know it was her
Naomi does most of the chasing
She drew Annie into the mess and didn't hear her out that night.

It's just a lot of drama for a relationship that hasn't really started yet. They haven't really been through any problems together, or been the shoulder to lean on for each other. Silver's probably been the most consistent, nurturing person in her life. I'm actually curious about her opinion of L/N rather than Ivy's.

They seem to be trying to do that with her music, but for some reason they feel compelled to throw in the "gayness/superstars". I think it is a rule on this show that you are either starting a relationship, in a relationship or ending a relationship. A character being single is just not an option. Even when Naomi was pining over Liam early in the season they had her date three different guys.

Being in a relationship or more importantly part of a triangle seems to be the focal point of this show.

Although I think they do that with most shows. They just manage so make the triangles more compelling instead of an all around tedious pain the face. I remember Brooke in OTH didn't date anyone long term for a good three or four seasons in OTH and they through every guest star available on her. Writers seem to think that's what makes characters appealing.

It only seems like that because they are "casting sides" therefore they are only used to cast the extras that are in that scene with the main characters. Naomi and Liam will have a good relationship for a little bit.

The clip of Navid/Dixon/Liam, I could not help but laugh. Like do the writers not do research? I mean I dont know about anyone else here, but when I was in high school drugs were not a big deal. I mean they were a big deal to the adults because all their kids were doing them, but as high school kids everyone did drugs. Or at least drank and smoked pot. The whole drug thing on this show is totally played out wrong. Cool kids are usually the ones who do drugs, but its only pills and a little bit of coke and maybe a little bit of xtc, sometimes schrooms too. It might sound like it, but I dont speak for anyone else's high school experience, but that is how mine was. So I always think the whole drug addict and teenagers going to AA meetings storylines are kind ridiculous. Adrianna was given too many bland storylines last season.

But there's a difference between recreational drug use and becoming an addict like Adrianna - that's why she went to the AA. Obviously somebody is going to be selling drugs in BH's but the fact they're going so gung ho about it and Jasper is because he sold it to Adrianna - and then pushed Navid down the stairs. And Navid has always been a kind of moralistic character, so him trying to have Jasper expelled for drug pushing isn't that out of this world.

Ivy is probably doing the whole be friendly with Naomi while secretly sabotaging her relationship with Liam thing. Ivy did call Naomi the night of the dance and in the sides Naomi buys Ivy a gift on her vacation, so they are on friendly terms when the show starts back up. I think once Naomi finds out that Ivy still has feelings for Liam she attacks her on the beach.

Most people that are addicted to drugs pretty much have addictive personalities. So if they quit something like drugs they can easily become addicted to something else like drinking or smoking or relationships in Ade's case. I have a family friend that is an addict and that is pretty much what they tell you in rehab. You are supposed to find hobbies that are constructive, which it looks like Ade is doing with her music. I would be impressed with the writers if that was the reason behind Ade suddenly getting into music.

Hi guys have not been posting in a while. Just a few thoughts, I AM A HUGE LIAM NAOMI fan and I'm very exited to finally see them sharing so screen time together. However I am mad about the way it has been written, it's just going to be sexual. This couple had a lot of potential but writers really screwed it up. So although Im looking forward to their short reunion, I realize the writers never intended for them to be an epic couple.Perhaps they always planned it to be epic with Liam and Annie...And I figure they way they're playing it out is that Liam and Annie get close as friends..without any sexual feelings. I'm not going to discard Annie and Liam as a couple quite yet. Maybe when we see them together it will make sense. I think they will start out as friends, finally give in to their feelings, but it won't be about sex..I think the sex will come later, given her experience of loosing her virginity to Jasper. So they just might be the epic couple the show wants, the new Dylan and Brenda.
Like I said I always wanted L/N back, but if this is the way they are going to have thme together I really rather they be apart.

Well I quite like Ivy. I didn't at first, but then she grew on me. I felt sorry for her with the whole Liam thing - especially when she overheard Naiomi talking about her in the toilets. And then she still went on to help them get together... even though it hurt her, because she knew it was what he wanted.

I'm also excited to Liam and Annie to have some kind of relationship. I can't say I'm a LA shipper, just because we've never gotten the chance to see them together. But something about them interests me... and I think they could be a great couple if things play out the way I hope they do.

I'm not sure, I'm an LN fan an even with Ivy staying I'd still take her over Liam/Annie... although now that she's officially staying Liam is pretty much Lucas Scott/Ethan Ward so I don't really care who he ends up with now :lol:. I don't see Teddy as a major threat either. Like Ivy, I think he's only a threat because the writers like him/want him to be but I don't think he would ever be able to generate the type of fandom that SD has had. He's just not that popular.

Of course getting Kirshner to realise that she's going to have to start appreciating what the fans want before everyone stops watching is the real challenge. She's pretty much continuously flipping them off.

That's how I feel too. For some reason the trio just do nothing for me. I liked it in 2.01 and then it just kept getting worse and worse and ...not that I hated them, but the 3 together never did nothing for me, I felt it was alot of forced SLs in a way. Like yeh you 3 have the same tattoo, and when one is crying your there, it's like the Naomi/Silver issue was put aside, oh they are childhood friends, ok...how did Adrianna get in this friendship? it's like they made her the third wheel, when all of s.1 we knew she was Naomi's bestfriend. I just tuned out after all the confusion, plus they made it into a mean girl group and it just did nothing for me. I actually haven't felt anything towards the girl's friendship this season, the guys have knocked it out of the park.

Dixon/Liam right now over Ethan/Liam's s.1 and DL don't even have that many scenes. Srsly, Liam had he not been for Naomi still those scenes were awkward and laughable, him standing on benches doing karate kid poses telling Ethan, 'hey lets go to the beach', I have not heard one guy or girl not tell me those scenes weren't awkward, then the worst of them all, the woods w/ the 'peyote Ethan' god I just LOL'd to bed when I saw that, honestly they had a few Bareback Mountain moments. Well they look good together as friends. Like Naomi and Silver, how they are both tall and skinny. Liam and Ethan kinda looked kinda similar. I just re-watched the Season 1 finale and I don't get how Dixon/Ivy are going to work. Ivy isn't exactly Prom Queen either. I mean, they share surfing, but hanging out with your girlfriend like she's "one of the guys?" How long can that last before it gets totally awkward. I dunno, since there's only three guys compared to the five girls, the potential combination are limited, especially since one of those combination would be incest. When Dixon/Ivy break-up, what's next for Ivy? Especially since Liam will probably be with Naomi or Annie. I'm so confused about the reasoning behind making Ivy a regular. Like, I don't get it.

Yeh I pretty much hate the character you know who plays, tennis and all, I didn't care for him. Hotter getting the scenes he did w/ Silver's mom, in moments that they made Dixon seem like an after thought, my hate meter would have been up there.

I still want the Final Destination ending w/ Harry/Ryan/Pa. Plus the 4 girls past snr. yr. aren't a gurantee, there's been rumors about JLow seeking music on top of acting, Shenae talking about fashion school, AL also strikes me as the type that would leave a show when a better offer comes. So... they are just preparing for the incase building the roots for a character to cont. into s4 if there is one.
